Alot of those big old houses are turned into apartments with multiple families living in them just like the rest of Massachusetts .

It's such a cool area

Moved down to Florida last year after living there the first 39 years of my life, I miss almost everything about it. People in this part of the country are f'n weird, I miss Malden something fierce.

I agree. I grew up in the north east so I can relate. I lived in Florida for many years and I left it just did not feel like home. People down south can be weird especially Florida. There is no sense of community down there. Not like the north east and New England states. When I grew up north neighbors were like family and so on.

Fellsmere Park is so serene with great views of the pond along with wildlife, and Malden looks like a nice city. 😍 It was nice to see the historic buildings and residential homes, and good to know there are some Asian eateries in the area. 😃 1:12:45 Your sister-in-law made a cameo appearance! 😎 Thank you for sharing this informative and relaxing stroll through Malden, AK! 🤗

Miss Boston! I lived 0,5 miles away from Fellsmere Park for one year)))

I used to live in Everett (next town over from Malden) in the 80s growing up as a child.

I lived in Malden for 5 years. I didnt mind it except for one thing. The noise pollution ! My one small corner has so much noise. Construction work, ppl yelling, car motors , tree chopping, hammers banging , ppl slamming doors. I lived on very busy streets in Dorchester, Brookline, The Bronx and Mass Ave and I swear NONE of those places are as noisey on a daily basis like Malden . The commuter rail and orange line are even muffled by the constant busy of the other elements. Malden is a nice place but its a magnet for incomprehensible disturbances

I’m moving there from Texas. It looks like a different world.

MA and RI are such beautiful states, but the taxes are crazy and sadly, such high cost of living. I am from Providence and so love to move back to RI or Mass but cannot affird that.😢😢

Malden, like most of MA has some nice old buildings, but if you’re looking for charm, I’d say Melrose. What’s best about Malden is it’s diversity and proximity to the Middlesex Fells. Otherwise, it could use more green space and a creative downtown area.

Why are the streets so empty

Seeing government center gone and now a pass through exists for pleasant st is surreal. Maybe I'll buy my parents house there and rent it out lol. If you don't get your kids into the charter school, you are sool for education.
