Why do they not show the replay of the foul leading up to the pen? Seemed like a bogus call. Refs are a joke in this league and have been for years.

Wish they showed the foul on that penalty a couple times. Looked weak af from the one time they showed it. VAR should review every penalty that looked like a huge flop

I say this as a huge FCC fan, it was a pen. A light pen, but a pen. Kubo gets his leg right in front of the guy, doesnt get any ball. Does the guy go down a tad easy? Yeah, but he also knows the pen is coming with that lunge and theres no reason to try to keep his feet One of the most frustrating aspects of this sport to me is mostly innocuous walkabouts in the box getting turned in to goals by silly lunges. I'm not sure how you could possibly eliminate that from the game, but I still hate it

VAR *does* evaluate every penalty and potential penalty. Then only recommend a review when they think the referee erred.

That was NOT a foul for that PK. No way.

@@kaden.r6 judging from the highlights.. And usually players in a high foot to head situation pull their head back before they get hit. That doesn't change the fact that the foot is not allowed up there when a head is really close. You don't actually have to get hit at all and your comment implies that he would have to be hit hard for it to be a foul, which is nonsense

5:20 what the hell was that? how did the #9 white end up with a yellow card? it looked like the #29 jumped him, and then when #9 went to check if he's OK, then #29 got up (too quickly if he was hurt, so you could say he was diving before) and attacked him. I would be less surprised if #29 got a red card And that penalty before was sketchy dive as well.

Charlotte was diving all night. Take a look at their goals this year. How many come from pens and not the normal run of play.

it didn’t show the whole thing. Number 9 pushed number 29 after he fell on the ground. But it might have been a dive

wish i could see the replay on that pen because that looked like the most horrible flop i’ve ever seen, refs seriously blowing these games
