After being down three times in this match, the Philadelphia Union can’t hold on and concede in the 100th minute to reigning League MVP Luciano Acosta, who had two goals and one assist on the night. Tai Baribo earned his first start of the season and repaid Jim Curtin with his first two career MLS goals. Jesus Bueno also earned a rare start and scored his first goal of the season, off a Kai Wagner corner kick, which is the Union’s league leading 11th set piece goal of the year. The Union have only one win in their last 12 games, and no longer remain undefeated on the road with their 4-3 loss to FC Cincinnati.
