I'm with Charlize on that about the dating scene. I like to meet someone face to face, being introduced to someone. I know that its not as common now, but I would love a good traditional date. Me too. I'm 24 and one thing I'm old-fashioned about is this. I don't use any apps nor do I plan to. Nothing against those who do; it's just not for me personally. One thing I like about meeting someone in person before any potential date or romantic connection is you immediately get a feel of that person, like their vibe, voice, general disposition, any rapport you establish, etc. All that said...I've never actually had a boyfriend and part of the reason is bc I'm shy and reserved around strangers, yet I'd still prefer to meet someone in person rather than online. I'm so weird. 😫

Love love love Charlize Theron!! She's got this really powerful and magnetic charisma and beauty. And I'm 21 but we share the same mindset on dating. Apps can be fun (for a day lmao), but it's boring (for me) because there's nothing for me to grasp on - at least when there's physical interaction, you've got the mannerism, the voice, their style, etc to grasp unto. Charlize Theron is probably the only celebrity I know of who's adopting of African children I fully support. I'm biased because I love her but also she's from S. Africa, and it just doesn't come off like a designer child or a white guilt trip sort of thing (sorry Madonna). I still support many of those adoptive parents, though.

They were ONCE at the same event and ONCE at the same dinner - they support each other via SOCIAL MEDIA but Charlize would most lily not consider her a personal "close friend" more like a friend/acquaintence who she met and supports business/charity wise but is 1/2 her age and would never hang out with her in a natural setting.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to my husband by a friend. He was her supervisor on her factory job. We went out with a car load of his & her friends. We went out for pizza, went to two bars to dance, played pool, darts, & video games. I stayed overnight & my friends & my husband picked us all up & we all went out for breakfast. He took me back home & later picked me up for dinner & a movie. We had 35 years.
