It would be crazy for him to not be good at golf. Hes had every Head Start given to him. Some of the best coaches in the money that can be thrown at the game to get better is happening.

Jack Nicklaus had four sons and they all tried mightily to play golf like their father. None of them came close and none of them ever won a PGA tournament.

Gary did lose in a playoff for a PGA Tour event; so close!! He lost to Mickelson of all people on the first hole of sudden death!

Charlie did not grow up with the discipline that Tiger did.

If he is so good, why didn't he even try to qualify for the USGA Junior Amateur this year? I know a 14-year-old who competed and made it to the final tournament. But Charlie was not to be found. Maybe next year?

I fact checked and Charlie is awesome but he's not winning or even placing top 10 in every junior golf tournament he enters. Relax everyone and stop hyping up this kid to live up to perceived expectations

Good point. I think we just like when kids actually do live up to their predecessors. Hes nice to watch but like you said he isnt placing so the hyoe isnt warranted

Look at how many children of superstars ever have gone on to match or surpass their parents ? It all boils down to unrelenting pressure to perform under a global microscope. That’s what you are doing . Harming his chances !
