ASA FAMILY : OH HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH CUT , CUT , INTERRUPTIONS AFTER INTERRUPTIONS . Loved this most informative and interesting interview of our late brother the great honorable attorney Jonnie L. Cochan Jr. here in 2024 , I almost loved it as much as I did when Mr. Cochran originally appeared on it decades ago . But that said personally I didn’t watch Mr. Charlie Rose’s late night night program too often , because most of the time I couldn’t tolerate watching Mr. Rose’s annoying bad habit of always cutting off or interrupting his guests in the middle of their sentences . Now here in 2024 it appears I still feel the same about Mr. Rose’s annoying habit , I also still say to myself like in the past , ‘thank Goodness he didn’t have too many great guest worthy of watching (that I like seeing) , regardless of always having to deal with all his cutting off and interruptions instead of just letting his guests complete their chain of thoughts .’ Amin . B1 and reparations all the way across the board family , and in the form of CASH PAYMENTS , LAND AND A BLACK ANTI-HATE CRIME BILL AS WELL . Amin again . ASA FAMILY :

Charlie Rose holds the position that OJ is guilty and he ignores evidence that suggests/proves he didn't. The police tried to frame an innocent man and Charlie Rose seems to refuse that possibility and the evidence that supports it. He doesn't talk about Fuhrman's pleading the 5th when asked if he planted evidence in the trial. Why didn't Rose question why the telephone record of Nicole's conversation with her mother that allegedly exonerate has been sealed to this day? Ans: Because Rose, like many others, want OJ to be guilty when the facts, Nicole's and Ron's alleged drug usage/involvement, the phone call timeline, etc. suggests he was innocent. Rose could care less that 1. Some of the blood at the crime scene has blood preservative EDTA in it that could only have been applied in the crime lab. 2. Vannatter against crime policy took a vial of blood to the crime scene. 3. The bloody sock in the bedroom had blood that seeped from one side to the other which would not have been possible if a foot was in the sock. 4. Mark Fuhrman had a anti-Black history and pled the 5th when asked if he planted evidence. 5. Ron Goldman, trained in martial artist, had defensive words while OJ had no bruises on him. 6. Autopsies of Nicole and Ron by experts conclude that there were two assailants, one right and the other left handed. 7. The phone record between Nicole and her mother is sealed to this day. Rose and others like him seem uninterested in the truth but rather want OJ to be guilty of a crime he did not commit. This is how ingrained in the minds of some anti-Black racism is in America. They reject the idea that white officers could/would frame an innocent Black man when history especially in America and Los Angeles has shown this is not only possible but in light of the facts very likely. They, I suspect, know this to be true. It is evil to want to frame an innocent Black man. Why aren't folk who look like Fuhrman demanding he take a lie detector test and answer the question did he attempt to frame OJ? Ans: They likely know Fuhrman is guilty of trying to frame a Black man consistent with his claims recorded the tapes played in court and don't want the truth exposed. Like a domestic abuser trying to blame their target for the abuse, America claims 'the race card is being played' whenever it's suggested and even proved that anti-Black racism infects and is present in a case. The level of deceit and vileness to try to shame others into not pointing out anti-Black racism is how America operates. Either the facts support anti-Black racism or they don't. In the minds of Rose and others. anti-Black racism isn't allowed to be considered. This is the sickness that pervades this society.

@mies viela the lapd forensics said under oath not only they didn’t change there gloves while gathering t blood samples. THEY NEVER Did. Not only that but the head of forensics never read the lapds manual on handling blood and dna samples So there is absolutely no reliable dna evidence And a couple specks of blood the size of a pin head. From a guy that slaughtered people up close an absolute blood bath. Which those were founds weeks later. And had the chemical preservative edta just on the blood spot on a sock and not on the entire sock. The gloves. Imagine the absolutely mishandling of so many cases that doesn’t have the funds and resources of the lapd and that’s how they handled crimes and murder. All it took was 10s of millions of dollars in lawyer fees to bring their practices to light.

  • @hectornegron9155

Why would OJ leave behind in the scene of a crime, the gloves he used to murder his own ex wife and her friend along with his fingerprints, his blood and by extension his DNA for the police to find them and associate him with it? Makes no sense. Fortunately for him he was able to pay for great legal representation. Others less fortunate from the same background as his weren't so lucky precisely bc they lacked the means to pay for a good lawyer, NOT bc they commited the crimes they were accused of. People like Emmett Till, a 14 yr old black boy from Mississippi accused of whistling at a white woman in 1955 (an unwritten crime at the time) didn't even get a chance to go to trial. He was abducted, tortured and lynched by her husband and his brother. They then were found not guilty by an all white jury. As if that wasn’t offensive and painful enough for the boy's family and the African American community in general, they then admitted having tortured and killing the boy and selling their story to LOOK MAGAZINE for $4,000. Whether OJ commited those crimes or not the truth is the country has always been divided by race so the division didn’t start the day he was declared not guilty. It was divided before OJ and it has remained divided after OJ. Mark Fuhrman's openly racist attitudes, misogyny and sexism and his superiors knowledge and approval of it helped the defense beat this case. It wasn’t the defense the one to pull the race card as some have said. Mark Furhman introduced it with his words and actions. Let's never forget when asked whether he had planted evidence against OJ he took the 5th. If you have nothing to hide you answer the question, you don't take the 5th like Donald Trump said. Oh wait, Trump also took the 5th more than 400 times so he must've something to hide too.

Charlie was enough in his element to get nearly every major player in this case on his show, for in depth interview. CR blatantly plays down his own knowledge of this case, but I suspect there's a good reason so many were happy to talk to him, over Larry King, Oprah etc. Cochrane really struggles to explain the softball questions posed by Lange and Vannatter during that initial interview. He also fails to recognise that Jeffrey Toobin properly researched and fact-checked his seminal account of these events. In fact "The Run of his Life" was clearly the most accurate book on this trial. Even with his dubious covert recording habits, Shapiro couldn't match that epic literary feat. For all the criticisms of Cochrane, he made a sincere effort regardless of circumstances, whereas Shapiro acted so shady throughout. Cochrane is wrong to criticise Toobin - the latter had wider perspective the former can only pretend to. I agree Darden's criticism of the jury was very wrong yet understandable given what he went through. I would take Cochrane's call for moral indignation more seriously, if he hadn't been a hired gun for a rich man who left his racial identity behind, long before he became a nationally known sportsman. Both OJ and Cochrane were very lucky with the timing of this trial, and both shamelessly capitolized on the publicity surrounding - but at the end of the day one man is probably a killer, whilst the other is just a smart lawyer who got grief for simply doing his job well ... Go figure how any of this makes sense!

As smart as Cochran was I don’t believe for a minute that he believed O.J. was innocent. Of course he said so in front of the cameras but deep down he knew O.J. did it.

Charlie Rose comes across as trying to play a low-level game of gotcha with Johnnie Cochran . . . to no avail. Cochran runs circles around Rose; he always has a rapid, plausible response to all of Rose's questions and comments.

Wow -- notwithstanding his (IMHO) morally-questionable courtroom work, he comes off very bright, eloquent, and reasonable here.
