    This is amazing what he is doing for addicts. I am now sober however I did do hard drugs for 5+ years. Lost over 20 friends, as to my close friends 1 is dead, 1 is homeless and one is in prison. Those are the only 3 options you have as an addict and I have seen them first hand. I am now sober 2 years plus some change. Have a good job, Have a family with my girlfriend and future steps son and really got to see what the world has to offer me. I wish I had a man like Robert around when I was 15 and my heart goes out to his loss of his son. On that note I love the videos and inspire now to make a great life for myself and my family and watch these videos everyday! Thank you for the wonderful content Valuetainment!

    Zachery Moore bloody well done! My husband had a terrible childhood and took to taking drugs for years. His best friend died in a car accident when they were 17.....and, he just sunk, self medicated, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do. This went on for years, and years. We’re in our 40’s now, and our kids are grown and healthy, and our lives are great. DONT GIVE UP! Easier said than done? I know......but, you write down the upside of drugs, and then write down the downside.....it soon snaps you out of it. Be well, and take good care......👍🏻🌸

    Never really rated Shapiro - if there was one it was F Lee Bailey, the great orator and court room battler who got OJ off and he worked pro Bono at Shapiros insistence - Shapiro wanted to sell out his own client as well as co counsel Robert Kardashian and he received millions but then complained OJ still owed him money.

    Forget about his work on the O.J. trial...to ME, the most important part of this interview and, it was a surprise to me because I didn't know about it beforehand, was him telling the story of losing his son to drug addiction and the realities that go along with a drug addict's progression and the lies they tell so convincingly to hide it...he was absolutely spot on about ALL OF IT. The lies from the addict, the fact that you can send a loved one to the MOST prestigious and acclaimed 30 day rehab program on down to a government funded 30 day program and nearly every addict WILL relapse on the 31st day. Fact. Sometimes within HOURS of release. I'm sorry for his loss but truly appreciate his brutal honesty about this horrific problem we face in this country, particularly for our youth and our own children. Best part of the interview and the most important part, imo.

    @32:10 is the most crucial moment in what is just an advert on what a brilliant lawyer shapiro is and his businesses. Just after this time frame he admits he ALWAYS wants to know what actually went down so he can credibly defend his client. What most people forget is that Shapiro was the LEAD Lawyer at the beginning of OJ Simpson's Trial and only later ceded to the PT Barnum of the Case, Johnny Cochran, so given this, Shapiro MUST have known what ACTUALLY went down on the night Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were murdered. Shapiro KNOWS OJ Simpson is Guilty of their Murders; I reckon Robert Kardashian KNEW of OJ Simpson's guilt as well because his face at the end when the verdict was read is one of absolute shock. The "Dream Team" went the Racial Route because any other route would have led to OJ being RIGHTFULLY convicted of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goodman's deaths. No wonder he no longer talks about it - scared he might let slip

  • @pjpredhomme7699

    @pjpredhomme7699

    26 күн бұрын

    There are several flawed assumptions on your part. The first is - that Shapiro was the lead - and he is the one that started the whole racial component. His investigator had done digging and found out Fuhrman's colorful background . 2nd - he actually hired Johnny Cochran and brought him onto the case. As has been well described - Shapiro was a deal broker - he did not go to court -which is the case 90 something% of the time. So he began "playing the race card " as a way to gain leverage to get his client a better deal. He miscalculated his ability to manage the other people on the "scheme team" and it got away from him. He always knew OJ did it the idea that lawyers represent innocent wrongly accused is feasible but is more for the movies.

    Love the BrentClub idea. Such a positive organization. I never smoked, did drugs, drank only six months of my life. At age 4 I heard about the principals' son died of a drug overdose, that scared me straight to never get into addictive substances. I wish more people in the world were like this. Saved me for sure from getting in with the bad crowd. I was never less social, without alcohol it forced me, a super shy introvert to be more outgoing. Many people never realize their social potential because they fall back on alcohol or drugs for social relaxation. Now I am more of an extrovert because of it. I feel blessed that I was able to figure this out so early in life.

    I would love to talk to Mr shapiro about the prescription drug epidemic. I have some unique ideas on how to get people off of the opiates, prevent young kids and adults from ever starting, and getting more information out in the world. Most people truly do not know about the opiate epidemic other than the most basic facts, people are dying from it. Thank you Mr shapiro for giving so much to this illness. Thank you for being a great example of a human being for caring so much after you went through the most tragic event any parent can endure.

I love it that this channel isn't all about business these days because if you have personal issues there is no way you can have a great business and Pat has realized that and is bringing us content to better our lives. Thanks Valuetainment team 🙏

    Brilliant man. Positive change in his community! Addiction is mostly a choice and not an illness. Someone doesn’t choose to suffer from ALS, MS, etc. Drugs and/or Alcohol use is a choice, not a disease. I’m sorry his son died from his addiction. I wish he didn’t have this pain in his life.

    The man gave great advice to civilians on what to look for in an attorney and he gave great advice on how lawyers should behave in court. He also has a message and a mission to honor his son's legacy and to help children. It's too bad that your attention span or intellect just couldn't cope with an old fashioned interview. You must be a fan of "the view" or "first take"

    Telling an attorney is actually risky as once you reveal some information they will no longer take certain positions and/or arguments due to ethical guidelines. This is primarily important in criminal law. Ie if you tell an attorney that yeah I knew that it was going to be drugs they will not argue that you thought you were buying bicycles whereas if you say a different perspective the attorney will argue before trial to get a plea or charges dropped based on the facts of the case and they can do it in good faith. Something to know

    Well, the attorney I hired to defend my wife on a drug, plus a drinking & driving charge. Believe me, it wasn't looking good for her. I explained everything to the attorney because my wife didn't remember much of what happened. Well, once he knew everything, he was able to put just enough twist on everything that it made the case flow really smooth, plus we were all surprised with the outcome. I'm sure everyone knows about the 3-Strike rule. Well, her 1st 3 drunk driving tickets, well, she got them just before computers were being used to store everything. The attorney asked that we pickup a copy of her driving record from the Secretary of State. I started looking at the printout & to our surprise, there were no OUIL's listed. They just skipped over her driving records & put the main parts, like her drivers license number & every place she lived at from when she 1st got her drivers license.....Her attorney was shocked to see a clean driving record, as we were. I remember him asking me if I had removed or altered her records.... So I believe it depends on what the case, or what the charges are. The good thing is she's been clean & sober ever since then. Now what kind of drunk was she? She drank right up until the night before the 1st court appearance. She by no means wanted to stop drinking, or using the drugs she was taking but after she read all 9 pages of the accident report, looking at all the damaged vehicles & when I told her about the man who I believed ended up with a permanent back injury, [I was in 2 automobile accidents & have back injuries.] I feel that by her seeing me everyday, I believe it all started to sink in. Especially when I would mention to her, ''I'm sure that guy you ran into is in pain like I am, Probably Every Day.''...........................
