Watching this 16+ years after this was recorded... there is a good chance I was sitting on a barstool, drunk off my ass, sipping starfire ale listening to Charlie shread at Fitgers Brewhouse... Now im listening to it in my woodshop, carvinv a walnut ladle!! Holy shit, man a lot has changed for him, me, and the world. Great music defies all time and space... Thanks for all your music Charlie.

It saddens me that stuff like THIS isn't on the radio! This man has loads of talent and his music is awesome!

Of the live videos I've seen, Charlie's are some of my favorites. I'm going to have to venture far from San Diego if I'm going to see him.

I found out about Charlie from KPFT too. not a day has gone since I found out about him that I haven't listened to at least a few songs.

This is unbelievable.

Holding the third fret of the B string alot and hammering the 2nd fret of the D string.

For the guitarists, I think the tuning is DADDAD. I'm still not really sure if it's 100% correct but it sounds pretty like it. Please comment if you think it's different.
