Just how much can WE change Global Warming? Let’s do the calculations! Have you ever asked, “How much global warming has there been since the START of the industrial revolution?" Ask Google, Ans from NOAA: “1°C since 1750? So how much change is that a year in °F 1.8F/272 years = 0.0066°F /year How much is actually caused by the USA? OK let's ask Google, Ans: 27% So the USA has caused (27%) * .0066° /year or .0017° F /year. Have you ever asked what is the half-life of CO2 in the atmosphere? Ans: 120 years WOW!! By using NOAA’s historical records after reaching NETZERO in the USA, the MAXIMUM change expected in global warming is -.0017°F /year And it will take an additional 120 years to realize an actual reduction of -.00085 °F Now Ask: what's the cost to reach NETZERO? Ans: $4 trillion a year for the next 30 years or $120 trillion.

Not all and not always. There are many honest ones that care about nature and want what's best for it, nothing wrong with that. We do pollute a lot - take for example the huge amounts of plastics in the oceans that kill many species, that's something we should try to reduce, no? However, the climate people simply do not know facts, and don't want to talk about things like energy required to produce electric batteries/cars, or rare earth magnets.

no dude it is not a mining question it is a completely relevant question because to do more wind and solar you need batteries. because wind and solar only produce direct current. while fossil fueled turbines produce alternating current. to make use of increased wind and solar you MUST have more battery storage capacity! this is basic energy production 101! you are the one who can't answer questions!

  • @theastronomer5800

Most wind turbines actually produce AC. They are insanely expensive however and require a lot of energy (to produce the materials from which they are made, and then to make them) and take few years to pay for themselves.
