I have a longer comment on here with more detail, but to make a long story shorter, we went to Mexico to help restore a building for an orphanage and they kept us at a Mexican border agent office for about 4 hours because THEY botched up the paperwork. We were treated almost like criminals when we were there only to help THEIR people. It should have taken less than a half hour. They never even apologized to us for keeping us so long, and it was THEIR fault….I don’t know anyone that just walked into Mexico, it doesn’t work that way. But WE are supposed to let THEM come into OUR country and we can’t even properly vet them.

In any other country in the world Americans do not have the right to come there and not be deported. We have no idea what people are coming here. How is that fair?

I'll start with just a little bit In 1803, the U.S. "bought", what is known as the Luisiana purchase from France, for 15 million $, which France didn't actually own to begin with, it belonged to the Natives. They bought was is known as "Imperial rights." The US started colonizing it with immigrants and by "negotiating" and making treaties with the Natives. Then try to pay them for the land. Since the tribes didn't want to sell and move from their land, the US would then bring in the military to FORCIBLY take the land. I'll leave it at that. Maybe inform yourself before you actually comment.

@@YevEli209 How many people are moving from the USA to Mexico, compared to the other way around? Even though some do, it’s not even close to the ones from Mexico moving here, legally or illegally. And from what you said it’s only easy if they have one Mexican parent, to move to Mexico So why are we supposed to let just anyone move here, MOST of them DON’T have at least one American parent. But they still come and feel entitled to what WE have paid for via paying taxes most of our lives. If I wanted to move to ANY country I’d research their laws and customs etc.., first, and if I couldn’t agree with them I’d either find another country to move to, or stay in the USA. NO ONE that comes here illegally is here for good reasons. If they don’t respect our laws enough to come here the RIGHT way, they won’t respect them after they get here, either.

The first thing people need to do when coming to America is learn the American laws.

You have to be in the Country Legally for that... It's also why now nobody on the far left wants the Supreme Court to hear any case that covers the 14th Advancement.. I understand and the majority of places it is strict but on the southern texas border I walked into Mexico many times without showing an i.d. They just waved me through but coming back in the u.s. was tough and I was born in the u.s. They wanted to know why I had so many visas in my passport as I am a world traveler and they told me if my answers didn't satisfy them that they would not let me in. They forced me to give them phone numbers and addresses of 2 people in the states and specify why I had the money to travel the world before they would let me enter my own country and illegals can just walk across the damn border without id.

I married a woman from Colombia and watched her become a citizen legally. The most amazing thing I ever saw was the day her and 120 other people took their oath and were sworn in. It was emotional for me just watching the other people’s reaction and emotion. I saw many service members and women men crying and were so proud. It really made me feel proud but I also was fortunate to travel the world to other countries and experience the poverty and suffering and understand how grateful I am to be in this country

For anyone that disagrees, maybe you would think differently if you REALLY thought about it. If you see a family member who is dying and can’t afford to get the best possible treatment, but illegals are getting ALL their medical needs taken care of. But the average working person, those on disability, SS… can’t afford the endless copays and deductibles. But their tax dollars, our tax dollars are paying for them not us. Another thing is , which is terrifying, is the amount of testing for diseases that we haven’t seen since the 1800s- early 1900s.( which are highly contagious)Such as TB, measles, mumps, rubella…. Stomach conditions ( which can be transmitted) such as H-Pylori. Testing for STDs has risen to a level I haven’t seen in 25 years of being in the medical field. Not to mention the funding for these people is causing funds to be cut from services we need, costing thousands of people to lose their jobs ( 1st responders are being hit the hardest because of budget cuts). Our citizens are sleeping in the streets, unable to afford healthcare, groceries and basic necessities. All the money they have been able to “ find “ to help millions of criminals ( and crossing the border illegally makes them criminals), could be used to help our citizens be able to afford to healthcare, rent, food…. But instead, it’s putting our country deeper into debt while still not helping actual, legal citizens. Just the opposite. Obviously there are MANY more issues that it is causing. Like personally, IMO, if you are going to invade another country… have enough decency to AT LEAST learn basic language. Such as being able to give their phone number, DOB…. And not be offended if someone doesn’t cater to them and speak THEIR language! They should learn to speak ours. Ok, I’m getting emotional and away from my point, which is… people need to look at ALL the repercussions and consequences we as citizens face, while illegals have NO repercussions or consequences . Even when they commit crimes ( excluding the crime they commit daily by being here) such as beating a police officer, assaulting citizens…. They MIGHT get arrested, but more often than not, they are released immediately without a bond. A citizen does that and they go to jail and are held with a large bond. They have more rights than we do. They take advantage of everything they can. So anyone that supports open borders, ask yourself how are they doing anything but hurting us? What happens when a psychopath decides to target your family and take your children’s lives? It doesn’t even have to be an intentional act of violence…., it could because your children are given a disease because your child was made to share a classroom with a student infected with something, a car accident . If they weren’t here, you would still have your family. Honestly look at how much this is hurting our country?

How many Israeli-American students, have friends that are MUSLIMS? How many MUSLIM-AMERICAN students, have friends, that are Israelis? How many, are brave enough, to tell others, of these friendships?
