RTÉ News reports on the death of one of Ireland’s greatest ever soccer players, Charlie Hurley. Born in Cork, but brought up in Essex, Hurley, who earned 40 caps for the Republic of Ireland between 1957 and 1969, was best remembered at club level for his long and successful career with Sunderland, and was named "Player of the Century" by the club's fans on the occasion of their centenary in 1979.
