"I spent most of my 20s lying on sofas and being bitter"... haha, i can relate to that
I like that he always tries to give good advice when asked questions about breaking into the industry - you can tell he really appreciates where he is in his career, and he knows that a lot of his fans are aspiring creative types.
Brilliant. Also, very refreshing to have a different story, not "Well, I went to Cambridge when I was 18 and then jointed Footlights... and then I met my comedy partner, who happened to be head of Footlights... and then all my comedy friends, who were also in Footlights... and then, of course, Rowan from the Oxford comedy revue..." Nothing against the Oxbridge lot, at all, excellent comics, but it's just a less bleak picture of the world with Charlie Brooker and Chris Morris there with them.
" The first ones you make will be dreadful... But eventually you will get good at it" This gives me hooe . Thank you again Mr Brooker
This video made me start in a several day trek through Screenwipe episodes...
Charlie Brooker is always hilarious even when he doesn't have to be.
"Don't try and ape everything else"! BRAVO Mr Brooker, and keep up the great work.... You are the UK's only balance!
Why is Laurence Fishburne wearing whiteface makeup?
That's some pretty solid advice
Champagne & coke!
There isn't enough Charlie Brooker, I demand more pessimistically delivered satire around christmas time.
I'm confused. I thought Laurence "Larry" Fishburne's big break was One Life to Live, playing Josh Hall.
"Bleating little pin." Oh Brooker I could kiss your face.
So good
I've been there! Try 'How TV Ruined Your Life' too, and all the Newswipes, adn the weekly wipes. You should be finished by around this time next year. Good luck.
Salute! Same here dude.
I used to read Brookers reviews in PC gamer back in the day
"It went viral."
what a legend
Charlie Should do a tour of Collages lecturing Media Students. Great advice.
Never heard of this guy before black mirror but he seems talented!

Pisces.
I like to imagine there is no one behind the camera asking questions in this interview and Charlie is just talking to himself in a small blue room.
Swobyl, ive done that, its really fun!!
"it went viral" hahaha, he is strange but funny.
I think his black mirror is covered in white lines

Hahah my 1st thought , he is wired
Definitely in my top 3 of working UK satirists today.
No 2017 wipe!
But that "So you want a career in TV?" segment he did on Screenwipe ended with "Now you're pushing 40 and hopelessly over-the-hill in TV terms and no one will hire you."
He likes Portal ehehe
He's married to Konnie Huq - probably just can't wait to go home...
is he on e's??

I really admire Charlie Brooker I hardly watch Tv as its mind rots and as the word says programme, thats what viewers are being programmed and brain washed. check out the occulists who were important in the development of television
I think he just really needed the toilet
