What’s always mind boggling is that we know women to be some of the most detailed oriented people around and also some of the most skeptical. They will check, check and check to make sure. Kind of a like when a woman wants to check a man’s phone when she suspects he may be lying to her or cheating. She becomes a detective. So WHY is it, that when they are meeting a man, and that man tells them, they aren’t in relationship (when they really are) and she just believes what he is telling her? I can only come up with this reason. When a woman wants a man, it won’t matter whether he’s in a relationship or not. And because she doesn’t really WANT to know, she won’t check. Because as detailed oriented as women are, one would think they would switch into that “trust, but verify” mode. It’s the same dynamic when DJ Envy got involved with Erica Mena, when he was married. Erica says, “well, he told me he wasn’t with anyone”. And you just believed him when you both ran in the same circles and couldn’t just ask someone? It doesn’t excuse the guy for lying, but the more I hear women say “well he told me he wasn’t with anybody” and you didn’t check to see if that were true, especially when you mutually know the same people. I agree. So for those men who say that women are insecure. Sometimes it’s not insecurities, it’s just that a lot of you lie for stupid reasons too! I’ll keep sharing until the day I die.
