Faith Renée Evans is a multi-platinum Grammy Award winning recording artist, songwriter, arranger and record producer. Faith is also a New York Times best-selling author, an entrepreneur, a TV executive producer and most importantly - a mother. With so many hats to be worn, it is undeniable that Faith has a little something for everyone. Through what has been an equally rewarding and trying career, ask her how she’s come this far and she’ll simply reply, “FAITH.”
With a music career spanning over two decades, Faith has released eight studio albums, with over 18 million albums sold and spawning over 30 singles. Faith Evans is a seven-time Grammy nominee; winning “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” in 1998 for “I’ll Be Missing You,” an homage to her late husband and hip-hop legend Notorious B.I.G.

I’m a 14 year old white boy, but this song still holds a big piece of my heart. My mommy listened to this almost every single day, it was her “happy song” and I would wake up to it every day. I miss waking up to it every day because she sadly passed March 1, 2023 this was just a couple days ago. I miss her very much but I will play this song every single time I miss her. REST IN PEACE MOM🕊️🕊️ Edit: thank you everyone for the good wishes on my and my mama god bless everyone❤️❤️

This song zooms me into the 90's i graduated in 1991 im 47 years young. It makes me remember The summers getting dressed with my acid washed jeans newly cut high top fade haircut chillin with friends enjoying the Florida sunshine at the park. We used to barbecue hang out with the girls in the neighborhood it was a great time nothing takes me back like this song it sounds like what the 90's meant to me.

Still listening to it even if it's 2024 Your love is wonderful, yeah And I don't wanna lose you So, baby Soon as I get home I'll make it up to you Baby, I'll do what I gotta do Soon as I get home I'll make it up to you Baby, I'll do what I gotta do Sleepless nights and lonely days Are all that fill my head all of the time, oh, baby But all I do is think about the way you make me feel 'Cause, baby, this love is so real Soon as I get home (when I get home) I'll make it up to you Baby, I'll do what I gotta do (I'll do what I gotta do) Soon as I get home (when I get home) I'll make it up to you (I'm gonna make it up to you) Baby, I'll do what I gotta do If I try to spend some time with you to make you happy Would you feel better? Mmh And if I could, with you I would be forever Forever in love, so in love Making love all through the night We could hold each other tight (hold me tight) I can take away the pain if you would only let me Just forget about the past 'cause I want to make it last Baby, I apologize 'cause, boy, I really need you in my life Soon as I get home (when I get home) I'll make it up to you (I'm gonna make it) Baby, I'll do what I gotta do (oh) Soon as I get home (oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah) I'll make it up to you (make it up to you) Baby, I'll do what I gotta do Baby, if you give me just another chance (oh, baby) I can show you love (oh, love) Promise I'll be true to you (you don't ever have to worry) Don't have to worry (no, no, no) 'Cause I'm gonna treat you right (baby, I miss you) Baby, I miss you, just wanna kiss you Hold you in my arms tonight (soon) Soon as I get home (yeah, soon as, yeah) Baby, I know what I gotta do 'Cause I don't need no one but you (I know what I need) Soon as I get home (and I need you, baby, yeah) Baby, I know what I gotta do (I know just what to do) 'Cause I don't need no one but you (I'll get down on my knees) Soon as I get home (begging you please, I'm so sorry, oh, yeah, baby) Baby, I know what I gotta do 'Cause I don't need no one but you (whatever you want you want) Soon as I get home (whatever you need, what I gotta do, ohh) Baby, I know what I gotta do

fact: faith wrote this song from the perspective of this being what she wished big would be saying to her. at this point in their career’s they really didn’t get to spend a lot of time with each other since big was on tour. knowing that she just wanted him to spend more time with her, makes you hear this song completely different. tink tink sounds so hurt.

This is absolutely one of my favorite songs by Faith Evans, I love and enjoy it from beginning to end. Happy 51st Birthday to the beautiful, talented, lovely, and one and only, Faith Evans! ❤🥳🎉🎊6/10/2024
Ain't No Greater love the one who gave us all life, The LORD JESUS CHRIST. Love Him first. Ain't No Love Greater than his Love. GOD BLESS TRUTHFUL SAYINGS.
She looks so gorgeous in this video; makeup, hair and everything is on point. The mood to this song is so perfect too, its snowing outside here right now and I can just chill to this throwback.

+Farah Joseph I see a lot of people saying 90's r&b was the best. It's not wrong, but it ain't right either. I grew up late 70's and through the 80's. The 70's was THE decade for true soul and r&b. Most of the 90's artist sampled 70's soul. That being said, I did love a lot of 90's r&b.

+Stanley Williams the 70s & 80s had the best love songs, therefore was the whole cake. The 90s was the icing on the cake--enhanced the flava! lol. However, I'm bias to my generation--the 90s. You see I'm a 78' baby, 80s kid, & 90s teenager/young adult! lol

Elvin as a producer (REAL KEYBOARD PLAYER) in the 90s for Jade, Brandi, Brian McKnight and many others that was a completely different time. Artist were dedicated to writing Changes and Bridges hooks that meant something...We dont have many real Musicians and Vocalist in the industry left to produce this kind of vibe...Its more Trap Rap, Southern Hip Hop, Dirty South mix in RnB just my thoughts brother...ONE.

Every time I hear this song it's like it's the first time, because it reminds me of a love guided by the ancestors. This song has never been the same since I heard and lived moments with him. And even if it doesn't last forever, I will still remember our love in a positive way. We made up after two years and gave each other the chance to love each other again.
