The best things to do in Charleston South Carolina! We visited Cypress gardens where The Notebook with Ryan Gossling and Rachel McAdams was filmed. We went to Charles Towne Landing, Holy City Brewing and of course enjoyed Downtown Charleston. Charleston is one of my favorite cities!

Woah, they were not kidding about 'Duck' Bridge! Absolutely beautiful area, so quiet and peaceful. We've driven through Charleston on a number of occasions en route to other destinations, but we've never parked it and done anything exciting or interesting in the vicinity while we were there. With so much natural allure, no wonder they felt that Cypress Gardens was the perfect venue for the filming of 'The Notebook'. Low key disappointed that y'all didn't do a Noah/Allie re-enactment. 😂 Next time!

Is it true that the self guided boat ride is included with the admission ticket?
How did you not worry about the 200 plus gators you mentioned? 😮
How long before hand should you book tickets for the boat ride through the notebook?
