Charleston Layover, "Deadheading" | Flight Attendant Life
I'm a flight attendant for a major US airline, and a journalist telling stories across America.
On this trip, I worked a Bermuda turn and then a flight to Charleston. I had a lovely layover the first night with a friend and colleague and then got to tend to some errands and a run on the next day. I had the BEST grits of my life at Henry's (once again, no tea, no shade lol).

I am glad I found your channel. I've never been to Charleston SC. Thank you for taking us along. That ice cream looked awful good! 🍨🍨 My favourite ice cream is with real rum rasins. The rum brings me to cruising altitude.

Hey malick,glad you got the apartment situation sorted out,it can be stressful to say the least..it’s crazy that tourists would have no idea how close they are to the rougher side of Charleston..what is your favourite aircraft to work on ? Hope you don’t mind me asking and have a great week 👍

Shaun! Thank you so much - yes all the apartment stuff can be so crazy. I know! I feel like I got to see so much without going all over the whole city. And gosh I really love our newer planes for the most part. The 220 can be such a vibe and the 321 neo, too. Have a great rest of your week 😊
