I just found this. Funny, I finished my Dissertation on Peirce in 2000, the same year this was made! I enjoyed it immensely, although it is super short. Mine explains how he arrived at Semiotics and Pragmatism as forms of reasoning, but kept growing beyond them into Ethics, Aesthetics and finally a concept of God as creative Ground of all Being. Peirce was America's Einstein or Leonardo. His Classification of all Sciences has continued to blow my mind until right now! You can go visit his house in Port Jervis, NY, still.

Wow did you you get an A+. By the way, it is a video dedicated to pragmatism. Best go to a coffee house for expresso and free pussy if you want more chit chat.

Isn't the thirdness a law, a construct of a kind of knowledge or learning process? I understood that the interpretant was a more sofisticated sign, the effect of the sign in the mind. Almost like a translation, that can explain better the object until the point of complete interpretation. Which would mean the infinite possibilities of the sign.

Thiara Stivari Socolovithc Pierce developed concepts over many years. Your understanding seems good, especially the infinite possibilities of signs. I tended to simplify ideas for this concise video.
