I'm still impressed by the outstanding quality of cinematography, editing, and writing that the first 4 seasons of The Crown had. Sadly none of that remained in the last 2 seasons.

Poor Diana looks like she's actually on Cloud Nine and then eventually, little did she know she'd hit the cold hard ground so aggressively

And by the time she knew it was all wrong, "Your face is already on the tea towels." I was 10 and woke up at the pre crack of dawn to watch it ALL and it's just always so sad that it worked out like that.

Poor Diana- she genuinely loved him and wondered why he was so mysterious and unromantic. She thought she found a worthy escape from the life she previously had. She had no idea she had to escape from something bigger. And, sorry, there is no poor Charles. Apologists will do the whining for him and demonize her and the roles they had to fulfill, but that's the institution's fault, not Diana's.

1:21 this was just the beginning, just the tip of the iceberg, an entire life of photographers, reporters, press, media etc. was she thinking that she could actually handle them all? this was a decision she would totally regret in the years to come, the start of a new, but awful life

@@libriansana8562 LITERALLY. Marrying that idiot killed her. Thats why I can't stomach seeing Camilla as queen. I was looking at the coronation watching her Grinch grin as they put that crown on her head. Ugh! I can never forget what that woman brought about. Diana would be alive today if not for her. No, she didn't shove the knife directly in her back but her actions caused a chain reaction that killed Diana, no two ways about it. And her "punishment' is that she gets to be queen and have everything, all while standing on top of Diana's bones and smiling that Grinch grin of hers. People like to call people "haters," indiscriminately. Maybe I am a hater of her. I'm a hater of anyone who caused someone that much misery, pays no price for it and gets rewarded in the end.
