He clearly understands English. He trained in Houston for a bit. I’m guessing he’s a little shy cause I don’t know why he wouldn’t be willing to speak English when he has so many fans from English-Speaking countries.
When this card got announced, I felt like the presser would be shit with constant pauses for translation. But this handsome devil of a translator made it so enjoyable. This card is so stacked I will be watching from midnight so I don’t miss a round of the undercard

I had a Portugese girlfriend who spoke practically no English. I would argue with a dictionary in my hand (13yrs ago Google translate wasn't a thing). I would find words, write them down, put them in a sentence and read it back. Most times she found it so absurd that she'd stop being angry and laugh

Guys yes Islam has many fans in The UAE (abu dhabi) but also We have many Brazilians living in Abu Dhabi too . Believe me both of these guys have a great fan base in Abu Dhabi . We got a lot of Brazilian coaches and their families living in Abu Dhabi . Abu Dhabi and dubai have diverse communities. I can assure you that Charles is being treated as a king in Abu Dhabi and he is receiving the best hospitality. (I think Brazil is the only place that would welcome him better than us)

He's known as the Jokester in their little clan. So... him speaking like this I guess is on par with him, like it or not.
