His voice brings me comfort
RIP to a good man!! I loved how he always looked angry but that was just how he was. Through his angry look, he managed to bring to life characters that we could all admire.
Loved his deadpanned delivery, RIP Charles.
R.I.P. Charles Grodin
My favourite film is Charles Grodin and Robert de Niro 'Midnight Run'. I thought no-one could help being overshadowed by de Niro, but wow - Grodin is a perfect balance, every bit as subtle an actor.

And I forgot about this!!!! “The film in which Grodin’s talents were perhaps best utilized was Martin Brest’s 1988 adventure comedy “Midnight Run,” in which he starred opposite Robert De Niro. Roger Ebert said: “De Niro is often said to be the best movie actor of his generation. Grodin has been in the movies just about as long, has appeared in more different titles and is of more or less the same generation, but has never received the recognition he deserves - maybe because he often plays a quiet, self-effacing everyman. In ‘Midnight Run,’ where he is literally handcuffed to De Niro at times, he is every bit the master’s equal, and in the crucial final scene it is Grodin who finds the emotional truth that defines their relationship.”

I always liked Charles Grodin. RIP
Have always loved Charles Grodin’s sense of humor and deadpan comedic talent. May you now have eternal peace and may God bring your family and friends comfort at this difficult time. Love from Iowa.
Rest in peace Charles
I miss him already. He was so funny.

Charles Grodin will be missed! Loved him in Heaven Can Wait, Seems Like Old Times & Midnight Run!
He still looks great at an old age.
Happy 85th Birthday Charles Grodin
Beethoven 2nd came out in 1993 & I think he was in his 50's and I can't believe he's still alive. And I was born in 1991
For someone of his advanced age he still has his wits about him.

"its in the news, its not like im making up things" lol
Nora O' Donnell was a very beautiful woman back in the day. Charles Grodin was an amazing and talented man. My favorite films of his were the "Beethoven" ones, "Midnight Run" and "Dave." May he rest in peace.
On a Charles Grodin kick of late.. watching old Letterman and Carson clips.. I also recently watched Seems Like Old Times and while it's supposed to be a Chevy Chase centered movie, Grodin actually steals the show as Goldie Hawn's current husband.. he's hilarious.
RIP
funnier then most even know
Mr. Grodin mentions Letterman here but never returned to the show before it ended in 2015 :(
midnight run !!! Best movie
King Kong!
"RIFF ON" Is that the cool question???? Damn, lady stop eating.
In 2006 he came back to acting.
Seems Like Old Times with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase
Many people hate his politics--and deservedly so--but always enjoyed his performances.

Another pesky liberal progressivist?
His observations remind me a lot of Larry David. He would’ve been great on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Really young looking!
Don Rickles and him the best .
Lol
take off the hat. let it shine.
Radio Shack , are you kidding me they're defunct ?
why do all tv presenters nowadays come across like robots, everything they say and do seem totally fake. Its like they never really have any genuine interest in anyone they interview,
