I did a few figure studies from the Charles Bargue Drawing Course, but don't call them Bargue studies, because I don't use them remotely in the way they were intended. Bargue studies are supposed to be meticulous, line-for-line, tone-for-tone exact re-creations of the source material.
I'm using them as inspiration for gesture and volume construction analysis. Even if you don't use them in the intended fashion, the book is still full of beautiful drawings.
