Charlemagne, the True Story of the Warrior King

Ойын-сауық

The big budget docudrama ‘Charlemagne’ recounts the dramatic, violent and bawdy life of the Middle Ages’ most important Emperor Charlemagne, aka Charles the Great, featuring elaborate battle scenes with hundreds of extras and excursions into the emperor’s most private life.
The most powerful man in Europe at the time carved out an empire which comprised almost all of modern Europe and whose legacy reaches into our very day. Using the very latest in modern research, the film combines vivid live action with cutting-edge CGI and interviews with world-leading Charlemagne experts to bring this scintillating warrior-king to life. Charlemagne, who died 1200 years ago, is shown as a man of flesh and blood for the first time.

@@capoislamort100 Well the European civilization has been the top dog of the world for a long time especially if you take into consideration the Europeans colonizing the Americas and eventually creating the US. Take a look all around you, everything that you use on a daily basis, the mobile phone, electricity and so on. Who invented everything you are using that's making your life better? Europeans and Americans of course. Without European civilization we would be 500 years behind.

@@Nana-KunwarUtter rubbish. As all the faiths have different teachings they can not all be correct. The Catholic (genuine Christian) faith is the only one that is holy because it is the only one that has its doctrines from God. All the rest are not just lacking that but mistake the idols whom they worship as "gods" when in fact they are worshiping devils/ demons who have fooled them into thinking they are gods, just as Satan tried to do to Jesus in the desert. That is why the people who spread the other religions and ideologies were charlatan men who never worked any miracles and certainly never resurrected themself - they are all dead and in Hell.

Ask Charlemagne about the legendary watch given to him by the Muslim Caliph, Harun al-Rashid. For King Charlemagne and his entourage, the hour was something terrible, arousing wonder and fear. The king's monks believed that inside the clock was a demon or a jinn inhabiting it and moving it, so they came to the clock at night and brought axes with them and smashed them in order to eliminate the demons inside it, after destroying the precious clock, Harun al-Rashid's gift "until the devil comes out of it," the surprise that shocked them and disappointed them, as All they found inside it were the machines from which it was made. . Charlemagne was deeply saddened and summoned experts, scholars, and skilled craftsmen with the aim of repairing it, but their attempts failed.

Heribert Illig "My thesis developed in 1991, which I have represented in every scientific forum since then, is briefly the following. The 7th, 8th, and 9th centuries of European history were artificially inserted, a period devoid of all reality and realistic events. Accordingly, it must be deleted without a trace, then the events before and after are to be connected directly or with a small difference. I already then precisely defined the period in question: the inserted or invented period lasts from the end of August 614 to the beginning of September 911." (Heribert Illig) Shocking? The thesis of the author's book, which caused a huge storm in Germany, has not been refuted by medieval researchers ever since. Because Mr. Illig proves with extremely thorough work: who, how, where and when they committed the biggest falsification of history of all time. According to our calendar, it has been over 2000. In fact we barely made it past the year 1700. Although this captivating historical thriller also highlights the fact that we have to be careful with words such as "actually". surprising mystery !
