Charlemagne was my ancestor 3 times on my moms side and 4 on my dads side. Interesting to know about him.

It's interesting! I've never knew much about Charlemagne's life, reign, etc. I think 💬🤔🙄🤨💭 I may have read or seen on TV 📺. That he was a brilliant king 👑. That he was one of the best monarch' s in human history.

Charlemagne was my forefather on at least 5 lines in my family tree: Foster, Ely, Manwaring, Harris, and Strickland, and I am of Magna Carta descent through the Stricklands. If you are a descendant of Edward I, of England, you are also a descendant of William the Conqueror and Charlemagne.

@@kmonen26 Do your ancestry chart. The records are all there nowadays. The DNA test probably won't provide any real data on a specific progenitor unless you matched up with one of their descendants who only showed up in your tree and all others were eliminated. I hope that made sense. I didn't know how else to explain it. Be forewarned though, once you start to do your tree, it can be addictive and expensive.

I mean, mathematically, it’s you and about 33 million other people lol I once traced my line back to Norman france in the year 1000 and found some incredibly fascinating descendants. Then I did some math and felt way less special when I saw how many descendants he has today lol I’m just messing with ya though, it’s still so interesting to see where your line goes back to and who in history you may be related to

@@Andy_Babb I agree. My lineage and .25 cents will buy a cup of coffee. LOL Like you wrote though, it is fascinating to see all of the history attached to some of our forefathers. George Washington was my 3rd cousin, twice removed on the Ball side of my tree. Lucille Ball was also related to him. She was my 5th cousin. I never met her. I would have loved to though. 😁
