I think a maybe more accurate statement would be that Charlemagne's audience doesn't watch tv. His fan base was gained from radio and his podcast which is on the internet. It takes a lot to get people to follow you from different platforms.

No. Thats not how it works in this case. He was on the radio promoting a scam.. That is not hearsay or an opinion, that is a fact. The day an fbi raids your building, thats all the civil side needs. The feds case will take years to play out. The worst thing they can go is keep him, then the feds or the civil courts find him guilty because that is even worse than letting him go. Envy is done and Iheart will be complicity to his actions since they were not paid to advertise the scam. Had Iheart been paid 20 dollars for it, then it would be a business transaction but since it wasnt, then they become a partner in crime even though they are not personally gaining from it

HOWEVER, civil wise it can be made to look like "You allowed this man to use YOUR PLATFORM to do his side hustle which was not on the up and up. Even though you did not back his side hustle, you are complicit in allowing him to use your platform and by extension reputation to perpetuate this scam". Where as iHeart's legal defense to that would be "We trusted our host because we had no reason to believe he was using our platform to do anything illegal. We are just as much a victim in all this as you are in that his illegal activities has damaged our reputation".

Charlemagne actually doesn't need anyone else on that show to be successful. He has grown exponentially as a host and now has a great balance of serious and comical insight. He can upset you and make you smile in the same moment. Envy shows his emotional weakness too often and Angela yee just brought the whole show down every time she opened her mouth.

I think Charlamange is pretty much the face of the breakfast club atp but he definitely shouldn't carry the show alone for the simple fact that he needs somebody in the room to play off of. Not necessarily. It could be a preemptive move to prevent damage to the company. If you work for a company and many allegations with proof showed up that you were flashing little old ladies on the train, the company can terminate you.

What that makes zero sense u can let someone go off simple allegations wtf u talking about. So when the NFL let’s coach’s go for a domestic violence issue that means they had knowledge of him beating his wife for years? No it just means they were made aware of an allegation. They don’t even know if the allegations is true or not & they still let ‘em go
