I owned a swag of Chargers in my youth, from an ex-Police VH sports up to a V8 CL. Everyone thought I was nuts. I would travel around NSW and Qld and everytime I was somewhere different I would stop into a Mitsubishi dealership and ask if they had any stock to dispose of. I got new doors, guards, boot lids, weather strips, all the obsolete parts for almost nothing. It was the early 80's and it was destined for the tip. I was doing a full resto on the CL when I encountered life's problems and had to part with it. All I could get for it all was $1000, and it took me weeks to sell it in the Trading Post (no interweb). I always wanted a VH 6-pack in Plum Crazy, so I really enjoyed this video. I look at the prices today, even for a wreck, and I want to cry. I'll just have to keep buying the lottery tickets. 👍

Great videos, Back when i was a Teen/ early adulthood, i had big Dreams or restoring my old VH Charger, 265 4bbl Holly, 4 speed LSD, blew a headgasket, and it just sat at the back of my Fathers Wrecking yard, then i brought a VJ Hartop, followed by a CH hardtop, then another unfinished VJ Hartop, 440 big block, mini tubbed, etc, spent over $8000 just on the 440 alone, then unfortunately,,, i was never able to finish any of them, over the years i sold all of them, , i sold 2 Chargers for $ 600 . Kinda feel sad now to be Honest. Still breaks my heart. 8(

I remember in the late 70's early 80's you could not give these cars away. I regret not buying them at the time mostly around $800 or so. What a nice example.
