Everyone who thinks he’s broke at this point in time are either Noobs or Hype Chasers. He has money at this point in time, since he’s Morax, the Geo Archon, aka Rex Lapis to the Locals, or as we all like to call him Geo Daddy. He has his gnosis at this point in time which allows him to make as much Mora as he wants. He hasn’t met the traveler at this point in time, and is probably just starting out his life as Dig Bick Zhongli ShlongLi. Question: During his Main Story, it was hinted by Zhongli himself that Morax/Rex Lapis took many forms and had reincarnated several times and perhaps was once a woman... yummy 🤤

He said to the traveler that he didn't use his power and hasn't been using it since becoming Zhongli, because he was training for when he would eventually trade the gnosis. He even said that before he started this transition he forgot to make Mora for him, so he's been walking around with basically nothing but his knowledge. He will always manage and since he's even smarter than Ning (the lady that got the biggest fortune in Liyue by being the smartest in town) it wouldn't be hard for him to make money. And yes he was once a woman, tho.. an old lady to be exact

It's been a year and I still think Mihoyo did such a perfect job in casting Keith Silverstein as Zhongli. I literally never skip his dialogue, that's how much I love his voice😭

@@KOKOBC Based on what Venti explained. Gnosis is much like normal people vision except it is internal and that its capabilities is kinda far more insane than normal vision would allow. Currently even without gnosis both Zhongli and Venti are still capable of manipulating their own respective elements to some degree because of their mastery over it (alot like the traveler where they can basically just manipulate elements directly) but neither no longer have the power to do insane feats they used to be capable of like Venti being capable of literally reshaping a continent or Zhongli singlehandedly capable of bringing down the water god on his own(or creating Mora)

theres also another bit of story when you talk to the security working in front of the bank in Liyue(the one on second floor or something).. to put it simply there are two security working on a different shift. I forgot but you can meet the guy/girl when they are not working on the Liyue harbor, talking about each other. Love it.
