Update I just followed this tutorial and changed some stuff up to make my model unique then I rigged it and now I'm gonna use it in some videos!
Your sense of humor really makes your tutorials stand out from everyone else 😂 Keep up the good work!
This was one of the easiest guides to follow! I love the way you said everything you did because some guides leave out "unimportatnt" information and I get really confused.
Hi, another joey here, I used this to make my animatronics and it kinda worked so thanks for the help Joeys helping Joeys
I’m extremely impressed, this is the most understandable blender guide I’ve seen yet. I might need to give it another shot!
Your videos never disappoint. You do a really good job teaching by example and having it actually be fun to follow along. Especially like the creative approach to using modifiers wherever possible, definitely makes things a lot easier.
Amazingly done, Joey. I love how you incorporate a bit of humor and gags into your tutorials. Makes them entertaining and fun. Went ahead and signed up for playbook with your link.
another great video by Mr. Carlino. Been following you for a while, and the quality of your tutorials has gone from good to great. I'm not a beginner but I always learn some new tricks from you, so thank you!
hands down best tutorial, super simple to follow, not dragged out, I learned so much in this one video compared to others. Cheers man!
🙌my fav blender youtuber 🙌
Can you do a "clothing for impatient people" and "hair/fur for impatient people"? I look at your tutorials a lot and your explanation especially in short form helps me greatly!
Love the videos hope to see more!
please make more of these I'd love to see how you do the other ones
This was INCREDIBLE, thank you for all your insights. :)
I know this isn’t for absolute beginners but WOW is this the BEST tutorial I’ve ever seen. Like not even for blender just in general. There’s never a question I had that wasn’t just immediately answered. Granted I’m not an absolute beginner at blender and 3D art so maybe that’s why. Either way, AMAZING tutorial

I learnt how to make character because of your videos! Mainly because of the skin modifier video you did. :3 I really helped me

I've learn a few niiiiice workflow stuff in this video,like the secondary things like just pressing f2 for changing the names of objetcs,pressing I 2 times for makinf it individual or set a collection cant be clciked in the viewport,that kind of things are very useful for having a better workflow and I appreciate that a lot

I haven't finished with the tutorial yet, but it's been very eye-opening and fun to follow! I'm technically still at 20:09, where you are explaining how to make the head, but since I go at my own pace it's been like one or two hours for me lol. I'm definitely checking your other tutorials, thank you so much!
excellent tutorial - so easy to follow along
Thank you for this video! now i know how to make one for my animation and will be uploaded in youtube! I hope you deserve millions of subscribers because of this!

Super good video Joey, thank you very much
Another banger video to watch❤️🔥

Great video. I really like the low-poly version of modeling you showed at the beginning. I always have trouble when it comes to rigging. It usually looks fine up until the point to where I pose my character to sit. Then the verts around the hips or bum area always look off, no matter how much weight painting I do :r.

in 12:10 you say press alt + click to apply to all. how to do that with emulate 3 button mouse ?
Hi! Joey My name is Joe. I like you tutorials. I am stuck on this one. When I apply the scale the eyes on my character look like two really long telescopes...so to speak. I'll repeat watching and thanx for the playbook. Long Live Artisty!!!
@JoeyCarlino

Thats fine, you should just change the thickness in the solidify modifier so the eyes get flatter
lets gooooo
Do you plan on making a video about rigging non-organic characters like robots and similar things? I made a golem model, kind of similar to the clash of clans one, and I can't find a single tutorial about rigging and animating something like that. I believe it would be very helpfull to have a tutorial about how to rig it, if a model of that kind should be a single mesh or the different limbs should be separeted when adding bones, how should the topology be, things like that. Hope you read this and thanks anyways!
@JoeyCarlino

hey i got a question can you make a video on how to make fur movable while moving bones becuase everytime i try to move a model i mad and has fur on it and when i move a bone the fur just stays in place and dosn't move please give me a tutorial it will help alot

I've tried to select ALT + G for the cat character images to set them to origin, but the front facing one's not lining them up correctly. I've reset my blender settings to default, i've no idea why it's not lining that image up for me correctly. Any idea?
Hey I want to know, can you do a small video to how you do ur lips syncs fast on ur models in your videos ?

How bad are distorted quads and how should I avoid or clean it?
@JoeyCarlino
20 күн бұрын
It's harder to avoid with very low poly models, adding more loops where the deformation happens usually helps. When you get to rigging, try to make things deform in a way that prevents twisting
In 19:10, which key did you press to move on diagonally?
@c.y.651

While moving, press the key for each of the 2 directions (eg. X and Z)
@JoeyCarlino

I just pressed G, I didn't move it perfectly diagonal. If you wanted to do that, you could try changing the transformation orientation to normal, thats at the top center of the viewport
