@@theboi9382I get the sense that the Fatui as an organization are rather ruthless. If a child can do missions because less people would assume a child to commit crimes then I think the Fatui would use this option. The house of the hearth is an orphanage but to the Fatui (the organization not arlecchino herself) the kids are future soldiers. In Arlecchino’s eyes she probably feels as though the children without the orphanage would have far more grim fates, unfortunately accidents might happen where the kids don’t make it back from some missions.

love the contrast between the two themes, it’s almost as if they’re showcasing her different personalities depending if she’s around her children or her ‘enemies’

Apparently in Khaenriah there was a Dynasty called “The Crimson Moon Dynasty” and Arlecchino has smth to do with the Crimson moon cause it’s in her Q and in the cutscene of her boss form Her curse is maybe linked to Khaenriah and that’s why she is fight the Khaenriah cursed soldier

I noticed some cool details about this demo, namely the children singing at 1:48 are each from a different nation. The back row left to right is probably Inazuma, Liyue?, Snezhnaya?, and Mondstadt, and the front row left to right is probably Natlan, Fontaine, Khaenri'ah?, and Sumeru. This probably reflects the children that Arlecchino takes in but also symbolizes the 8 nations. The black dust that envelops them could represent the cataclysm It's also interesting to note that at 1:27 we only see 7 children running along when there is 8 in the choir, which could allude to the surviving 7 nations of the cataclysm or the 7 nations that worship an archon.

interesting thing to note is how she fight a Black Serpent Knight, because Crimson Moon dynasty fought with the Eclipse dynasty

I love the fact that the EN VA has lots of roles in children shows, and now she's playing this type of character. ❤

it's a loose overlapping analogy hearth is a gathering place of families they light up the darkness to keep you safe from what lurks in the shadows and they keep you safe and warm and while she will also keep them safe she'll also teach them to fight the darkness and to be their own light essentially a large group of infiltrators and assassins instead of the old way of the best of each generation

​@@chelo136 Yeah because Genshin is dead-set on using actual gameplay in the trailers and the environment and the animation are just not as detailed as they could be when they would decide to make it just for the trailer. The normal attacks just take out a lot of velocity from the trailer imo

One thing i noticed is that she's sitting atop a throne, and then it turns ruined, where she then proceeds to fight various Empire Styled enemies (Desert, Khaenri'ah, Shogun).

folks, i am pleased to announce that as an f2p, i have successfully acquired both arle and her weapon within 65 pulls!! she was guaranteed but i got incredibly lucky getting her on 35 pity and decided to use the rest on the weapon banner and managed to get it :D arle's scythe is my first signature 5 star weapon and i couldn't be happier :) i hope that everyone who wants arle/lyney and their weapons has the same luck i did!!

Fun fact: In Lyney's teaser and Lynette's demo, the moon was emphasized. It feels like a hint towards their father's acossiation to the moon. Also at 1:48 they are all kids from different regions because the Hearth takes kids from around the world Like the orphans from the rebellion in Inazuma and tatarigami for example.

It's so badass but not too extra for it to feel overwhelming, I love it.

The transitions at the beginning were so cool!! Mondstadt cathedral to Inazuma outdoors to Sumeru desert to a seat in the Opera House to that throne- each one was seamless! And the music was just. Wow.
