He's the one who laughed at the "anyways I'm gonna go take a shit" line. There's also one time where he accidentally called the actor playing James Dean by his real name (Ralph), that's a different kind of breaking character though.

2:27 dude the whole fiasco with the alien sound effect, and the alien picture with the shark, and Tim losing his mind begging the sound guys to turn off the looping audio, while Gregg just grins and applauds… it’s all so perfect. Like I have spent hours laughing at this clip alone. I come back to it whenever I need to laugh.

And the two stage techs just sitting there in that second shot, who can presumably HEAR Tim pleading for the music to be turned off, but just keep their backs to the camera and ignore him... They don't even move, and somehow that makes it more effective. We have no idea who they are, but they can't be bothered to even acknowledge the difficulty Tim is having. It's perfect.

That dopey hobbit picture always does it for me. The fact that the editor is purposefully agonizing them.

I swear that shit was a deliberate goof by the sound crew. I know they intentionally leave room in the show for ad-lib's and I feel like that HAD to be one of them.

Its astonishing these two can bicker back and forth the way they do and not break character every other line. Especially when Greg hears a word and then names a movie with that word in the title right after. He must seriously have a catalogue of movies in his head. Brilliant.

I was watching this at like midnight, and I started laughing so hard I was afraid my neighbors would hear. I haven't laughed that hard in many many years. I can't explain why I found the alien music, the alien, and the shark to be so funny but it totally got me. This is high up in the rotation list for when I need a good laugh.

Sometimes you wonder if the extras that havent been exposed to the OCATC world as much are really put off by Tim's anger. Then you see Marc trying to contain laughter. Then Greg and Tim doing the same showing how much fun they're having. I bet this show is a blast to film. Totally improved with a loose arc to follow, and a small, loyal fan base. No bullshit frills. Just friends showing passion for raw comedy.

I know! This is just hilarious to me. Gregg can literally spend two hours saying and doing the most absurd nonsense with a straight face, but any hint of Billy Crystal just breaks him! He was trying to hide the fact he was laughing by burying his face into the champagne glass even before Tim spoke, because he knew what was coming! 😅😅

Thank you for putting this together, I had most of these filed away in my head but never saw the 1st cinema special. The Bruce Boxlitner break is absolutely legendary because Gregg is like an Easter Island Statue when it comes to keeping it together. I'm not sure what triggered it (the bee movie?!) but goddamn - that dude shattered

I think my favorite, aside from the epic alien breakdown, is Gregg trying to make it through the Bruce Boxleitner Popcorn Classic. ...and Tim's smirk when Gregg was to reveal his "OSCER" finale.

I lost it to the point of crying when the SPACE THEME started playing and pictures of Mark started to appear and Tim screamed TURN IT OFF multiple times. That switching between Tim, Mark and inflatable alien in a spaceship, pure fucking gold

The VHS slipping out of the cover always gets me

Thank you for doing this. My favorite one isn’t included though! It’s during the one where the sci fi sound is going and Tim says something like, “if you’re somebody who watches all these movies and cares about who wins the Oscar then you’re...” Greg cuts in, “our friend.” Tim finishes, “sick!” When Tim says “sick!” It takes Greg by surprise and he almost loses it.

You dont see mark break, you hear him break as his character is facing away from the camera.

The way the video starts with them wheezing trying not to laugh is the best
