Thank you for the video, Im 70 id rather stay in a hotel & be waited on. The only time ive ever stayed in a caraven was 54 years ago. My sister & i are going to Skegness in July 2024 hopefully.

Love chapel we usually stay on a small CL THE FIRS in our small caravan highly recommended it. Nice and quiet and a short walk to the hustle and bustle to chapel.😊

It's not Trunk Lane. It's Trunch (to rhyme with Crunch) My mum and dad owned a caravan there in 1952.

@@gazza2933 that’s alright I don’t take things the wrong way anyway, you should read some of the comments I get from people, I’m sure they don’t really mean what they’re saying, it’s probably the spear of the moment, I am still learning how to do YouTubing, from filming to getting the sound right and then editing, you wouldn’t believe how long things take to edit. I wish you'd shown the other end of Chapel, particularly Club Tropicana...it's actually had many shops on Trunch Lane since I've been a visitor, and that's for ,,64 years.. although they've altered over the years... Your videos are great...but the hidden places need to be shown - maybe that's my job on next visit.

Hi neal hope you are, chapel not a bad place, i went mablethorpe thats a nice place, ingoldmells and skeg where the places ive spent most of my time by the east coast,as allways many thanks the videos are really good cheers mate.

Trunch Cafe and Restaurant is a fantastic place to eat. We're fast becoming regulars there! Back in a fortnight.

2.60 a pint, oh my gosh 4.50 in my local,and thats cheap compared to some of the prices.

I was going to request a video from CSL. Perhaps you could do another showing the viewer round the centre of the village (and the area round the 'Golden Palm'?)

That would be good, I love the trunch lane area but there's lots more to chapel like the village and golden palm is great.

@@neilrgreatestadventures Great news! There's a small area opposite the Golden Palm which has some shops which might make a useful filler? I can't remember what they are as it's a few years since I've been. Keep up the good work with the video's I'm obviously not the only one who enjoys watching.

It’s also the Ging-Ham not gig-ham restaurant lol

That was all there when i went in early 80s.

i remember chapel as a kid loved it for its simplicity this video got me spunking in my pants oh the destruction of a true resort where you can come and go to a bar and watch football what has the world become

It’s not too for an hour or two, it all depends on what you like doing, the beach is good for a walk down and there is a few shops but nothing special.
