I commented previously, but I'd just like to say that SoS has a charm all of it's own. To me, it always feels like I'm stepping back in time to better days and memories of wonderful childhood seaside holidays. A lovely little gem of a place.
Nice video, Neil and it looks to have been a lovely evening. Never been to Winthorpe but will take a walk up when we come to Skegness in a few weeks. It's always nice to see your reveiws- keep it up! :D

Yarmouth ain't been great since the mid 70 s Many seaside towns now over run with drugs illegals etc I live in one which shall remain nameless It's alright where I am a very small town where things do actually get done and any trouble the old bill are pretty good BUT we do have a drug problem and it's the younger ones who get caught up in it Still unless local governments get their fingers out of their arses the problem will get worse It's such a shame cause these seaside places are mostly fabulous places to live Brilliant film by the way cheers 🙏🌈🥵

I totally agree with this guy he's saying ur the villian the way u keep goin on at them picking at the tui airline staff I feel u had a problem with them to and the snig remark u made abut the female pilot wow it's 2024 man lady's can fly plans as good or maybe even better the way u look at the camera at tack off like she's goin to kill us is a slap in the face to lady pilots all over u same like the kined of person that belongs behind bars and not for ur terabul video but cose u look like u would be in a pervert sting not a holiday hate vide the face of a predator 😂 is it Thailand next big man eh

@@lucasdamien8375 totally wrong stop being sexiest there’s nothing wrong with a woman pilot, the video is not made out of spite, the camera never lies, so take note in the future when watching videos to get the facts right.

Do you know if there's any swimming pools near "the chase" site in Ingoldmells. Going next weekend and we thought there use to he one on site, apparently not?

I’ve been reading some reviews and there are a few negative ones. Can I ask because my family are big drinkers. We are staying in the tui SUNEO Santa ponsa. How easy us it to check in because apparently there are a few hotel. And please do you know when the bar shut at night, and all inclusive is all the alcohol included. Sorry for a lot of questions and bad English. :) good video new sub
@@beebeebelle Hi, very easy to check in, the bus should drop you off at Globales Pionero which is the complex after the Santa Ponsa Park, go to the reception at the Pionero, and they will tell you which complex you will be in, they are both the same layout so don’t worry if you think you are not in the right hotel, you can use all the facilities at both complex’s including the restaurants. All the alcohol is included in the package apart from branded alcohol drinks. The bars normally close around 12ish but there loads of places to drink close by. I hope I’ve helped you with my answers, I am actually here now with all my family and having a lovely time. Also there will be a new video coming out next week showing the second complex. Sutton on sea is beautiful, it’s not scruffy , shops don’t open on a Sunday , it’s a peaceful village , if you want a faster pace you need Skegness etc
Well, what a moaning miserable video. All we see/hear is this bloke walking up and down whining on about how quiet and dirty it is. The paddling pool is out of action whilst the colonnade is constructed. It was a Sunday, and wet to start with. It's NOT Skegness or Mablethorpe or Clacton on sea.....it's a quiet pleasant seaside village where MANY MANY holidaymakers return year on year as it's so stunning!!!

Great and honest review of Fox's, you said it was cheap but small portion is there a choice of a lager portion if preferred also may I make a suggestion regarding reviews of restaurants for the future. For people that have allergies could you just add if and what they cater for for example my wife is a celiac so can not eat Gluten and I can not eat soya so going out for meals can be a bit of a task. On our last visit to Skegness we did try the Atlantic fish bar as it not only caters for normal fish & chips but also celiac as well and it's the best Gluten free and Soya free fish and chips we have ever had and we have tried a number it even beat one in Hastings. Please keep up the great reviews. Keith
Having read all the comments, i think that one thing that has been missed is that this is an objective view of sutton on sea and based on what is actually there. Some people like it quiet and others like a more lively place, and all the video does is provide info for people to see if it is for them for not as it shows good points AND bad the same as any seaside resort, so people can make their own choices. No point only seeing positive things as it gives a false impression and people would feel misled. Great video as always neil and keep up the amazing work you do for all these british seaside towns 👍👍

Have to disagree with you on this one. Sutton on Sea is a lovely traditional sea side place. Shops are mostly family run and value family time on Sundays. Some are closed on Mondays too. Luckily we are all different and like different things. Next summer when building work is finished and paddling pool back open it will be fantastic. I only go into Skegness if really necessary as don’t really like it. Sorry.

It’s certainly a very non-attraction place to say, no arcades, no rides, not much leisure places in general it doesn’t strike as a seaside resort, nothing for anyone to do if your under about 50 really, most people staying there will either head to Mablethorpe or to Skeggy 👍🏻

The colonnade was 0:01 demolished about 4 years ago and instead of just replacing it they dug up the bowling Green, gardens demolished the toilet block and wrecked the paddling pool! All to build this 1970s monstrosity that most locals hate. It used to be an old style quaint area that was a nice place to sit and watch the world go by. The district council and Victoria Atkins claim responsibility for this mess. Think they are trying to twin us with Mariupol. They are also trying to turn Mablethorpe into a nuclear waste dump!
Our village is lovely if you don't like it don't come
@@markcobbold58 was, it should be such a lovely place rain or shine but myself and a few of the people that live there agree if the council doesn’t pull there fingers out and clean the place up, things will go down hill and end up like a ghost town like other seaside resorts, so let’s hope the council see this and take note, then I will go back and film It looking better 👍

What change are you looking for. Have you been to SOS on a Sunday before. 1, you’re not in peak season yet. 2, owners of shops have life’s 3, it is a lovely place rain or shine. IMO you have misinterpreted this place. If people want arcades and busy proms, mablethorpe is 5 mins away in a car or you could take a lovely walk along the prom, to get there. Yes SOS problem doesn’t cater for everyone but why should. 95% of people who visit love this place imo. I’m not offended by the video but I feel you have seriously missed what Sutton on sea caters for. Good luck on your future adventures and sorry to hear about your loss.

This is Sutton, not Skegness, it's different. The shops don't always open on a rainy Sunday. Come back in the season if you wish for more stimulation,but us grumpy old folk like it quiet!
It's very good value for money, 10/10 but it's nothing special, not a great deal of flavour, if you like bland food, you'll like it.
I was at Sutton on Sea in May,I loved it,went during the week,I was on holiday in Mablethorpe,was in the antiques shop where I bought a red painted steel bucket which says cocoa cola on it,im using as a plant pot,and went and had a coffee and cake with my husband in the Ice rock cafe,of course the front is looking a bit of a mess because they are building a new leisure complex,which I think will be good for the village,I found the place quite charming

Hi Neil I think you found it quiet because you went on a Sunday. Sutton is quite traditional in that they don't cater for holiday makers and so a lot of things close on Sundays. The paddling pool is not open this year due to the building works. Food looked lovely though I'll have to visit!

Another good video. It's a shame that SoS seems to be even quieter than its normal quiet self. This is meant in a nice way but I keep a pile of change to hand and throw a coin a jar in each time you say 'actually'. I've accumulated quite a bit of cash which will be spent on my own holiday! keep up the good work!

Used to holiday on The Seaview caravan site in the late '60s and early '70s. I remember the 2 go-kart tracks one for little kids and one for the older ones with the slide. Won my first camera at Bingo in the Seaview arcade (it had a sticky shutter) and had them developed at the hexagonal kiosk outside the arcade which took a couple of days to come back.Took Quite a few photos down Ingoldmells and Skegness with that B&W camera and some of the dolphins that were where the Skegness aquarium is now. Will have a look next time I have a clearout.

Sorry had look through my old photos and couldn’t not find them. May have got lost when I got married in the 80s and move home, again sorry.
