It's been whitewashed but we were there at the beginning. That's why the National Museum of African American Music is in Nashville. The roots of country music are with Black Culture. It is amazing.

Best music is done by genuine, talented musicians no matter what they look like....it seemed to be that way pre 1990s. This group is awesome! Happy for them.

I will NEVER forget Howie Mandel's statement "That IS YOUR WIN" when Danica said that country doesn't look like us. I wish these ladies nothing but the best.

They are not comparable to any of the girls up there. These girls have PERSONALITY!!!! and are very good to look at. Their joy spills ovber to the crowd, and that cannot be taught! The others pale into insignificance next to Chapel Hart. Any act after them would be a downer compared to the energy the girls put out on that stage!

So fun! I just watched their golden buzzer performance on AGT and they were dynamite. Danica's voice sounded brighter and stronger on AGT so I hope she preserves her great alto since they are traveling alot these days which is always hard on the frontwoman.💯👍🎶.

I thought Danica performed better on AGT, as well. Her voice sounded a little scratchy and she seemed to have trouble maintaining some of the notes at The Opry. I also think she tried too hard to work the room by asking the audience repeatedly to join in and make a little noise.

Danica had surgery on her throat a few weeks ago and was told by her doctor to stay as quiet as possible to allow the throat to heal. She did amazingly well but that's why she sounded a little less dramatic in this performance.

I have to agree with you. There AGT Golden Buzzer was way better than this. There are too many extras now like yelling at the audience etc, and Danica's voice sounds tired.

My childhood in the 60s and 70s had black country STARS.. I went to rock about 75, listened to some top 40 country,,, and Darius brought me back .. I've been waiting and wondering all there's years why it all turned white.. I'm from Boston, so I get the Opry is south, but that was bs man.. we missed A LOT FROMOTOWN, COUNTRY AND R and B while you threw the black people the bone of Rap.. So glad to see them taking front stage AND PLAYING INSTRUMENTS UP FRONT!! FUKKERS.. GO GIRLZ! ya I'm white,, but I dance... Good thing I can dance to rock, cause for about 25 years, music was hit or miss for top 40. And some was absolutely embarrassing..

I absolutely love this group!! They are one of the best things that have happened to country music in a very long time!

I haven't listened to Country music since Shania. 25+ years later Chapel Hart has made me appreciate it again. These women are the future of Country music because they celebrate and respect the past!! If there are any ignorant people that don't think they "look" like Country music I'd strongly suggest you find another genre because Chapel Hart is gonna own this one!!!!!

For years they tried to get into country music. And then one day they they showed up at this little thing called AGT. And overnight they became an overnight sensation.

They've been trying to make it in Nashville for two years Danica said. Their talent would have been seen from the very start, but the Nashville sound is controlled, very controlled. They are a 'business' first and many talents have not been taken up, especially if they have a mind of their own. Thankfully, the girls got too big too be ignored!

Chapel Hart, didn't win AGT. What they did was win me over. The future is looking bright for these ladies.

I am so happy for them!! From the first time I heard them of AGT, I knew, the world knew they would be big!! I'm ready to see them on the stage at CMA winning their first award and I'm ready to see them sing with Dolly!!

The first black female country singer on the Opry was Linda Martell. Her 1970 lp, Color Me Country was re-released thus summer, 2022 on Sun Records on orange vinyl. On ebay.

Their first performance of "Jolene" at AGT has launched them into music skies. It was their moment of glory, very well deserved and filled with sincere charge of positivity and amazing singing skills. Nice career is in front of them, but energy and raw emotions of that time they simple won't be able to do any time again. Wish them all the best though!
