'; this inherently implies that it's extraordinary for a female player to have the endurance to carry on playing the tabla for 20 min +. Further still, even if you had left the gender of the player out of your statement, then there's still nothing extraordinary about a tabla player playing the tabla for 20 min + - Just watch other youtube video's and you'll soon realise that passionate musicians have the endurance to carry on playing for hours in some cases. In terms of focus or attention of the viewer, I appreciate the fact that you uniquely recoginised and appreciated her contribution to the overall rendition.

Sufism is basically like a pray. It evolved from "Bhakti". That's why we see a lot of bhakti songs and element in sufi songs. Eg. Chaap tilak and Saanson ki mala.

He is great musician classical Sufi singer of latest era. I must say he is legal heir n incarceration of legendary Sufi singer ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali khan Saab . Well verse with all kind of ragas as well as various melodious song amazing n unique performances he have given . He is not filling the gap of Nusrat Saab but also setting another benchmark in Sufi singing hats off to him n his entire team

I dont know , my eyes are filled up with tears, feeling goosebumps ......feeling connected with myself..... I want to live this feeling always....i dont need anything..... Jeewan yahi hai...

Lyrics of this song tell a tale of its time (1300-1400 AD) - verses include hindustani (originating from a mix of Persian, Urdu, Hindi), Avadhi as well as Bhojpuri linguistics. This was created when Chishti order of Sufism (Islamic mysticism) originating in Herat, Afghanistan and influenced by mystics from Damascus, Syria met the Hindi culture during medieval India at the cultural melting pot of Delhi. Another notable poet of this time was Kabir Das whose provocative work was also a product of this coming together of cultures. It is not often in pre-modern history that two cultures separated by oceanic distances meet in a harmonious and syncretic manner. The Indian sub-continent is in fact an exception and hence, forms the strong philosophical basis of post-independence modern, secular India. We should not undermine how cultures travel and dissolve into each other and with the benefit of hindsight, Hindus and Muslims of modern day India should be aware that we are carriers of this culture of love and appreciation for each other.

Hip hop is new whereas this is centuries old music. Rapping is about beats, bars, flow, rhyming scheme, and is an entirely different concept.
