That’s one thing I try to do with these videos! usually when I go out I have a few things in my head to lookout for and it makes the process easier. that’s what I hope these videos do 👍

@@RanftEvan they definitely do! Usually when im out and about i rush through things really quickly and these videos have given me a better idea of pacing myself as i go about my shoot.
I generally take photos i think aren't great while I'm out and those become some of my favorites once I start to edit.
this is. very authentic. so relatable.
Had to be blissful sensory overload! Great video and work.

Yes! Me too! It was super cool!
The panning photos would have been better if you would have used a slow shutter speed and panned with the subject.
This video is one of my favorites, cuz it's the one with the most mistakes in it. And she made me think a lot about mindset, focus and CONSCIENCE. That moment when you said 'i'm looking for something weird', it just resonated in me.
Hope you keep doing these vids Evan! I love the chill vibes and seeing your thought process.
Is nobody going to point out how good the b roll is? Evan’s video game has really evolved
Great Video Evan.. That Diner shot is sweet...
I like the pic with the police man it's nice and the diner shoot is awesome really love the color for that it's amazing love your vlogs inspire me alot thanx for makeing this kind of videos
This guy is like the combination of all my favourite photographers. I love his work.♥️♥️♥️♥️
Eii I think it’s great how you openly critique yourself and you accept that you made some mistakes along the way :))
Love your videos! These behind the scenes videos of yours motivate me to go out and shoot street photos and i’ve definitely taken a lot of inspiration from you when it comes to street photography
The first and third diner shots are solid. Really great NY shots. I actually worked at that diner. My first job in NYC. It was hell lol!
awesome behind the scenes content. Thanks man BOOM
Really enjoyed this video. First one I have seen of yours so hit subscribe. That dinner shot is amazing and such a cool look of colours.
Great vid! Love this city and love your content!
Love this concept
What a great place to shoot,a photographer's paradise 😍 And of course anazing pics,l cant choose just one! Nice video as always, love it!
Dude absolutely love the behind the scenes videos, so cool to see you on action and knowing what you have in mind. My favorite photo would also be the fist one of the dinner sign.
Great video, the diner vids are my favorite, especially with the layered foreground with the car
Love your work..big inspiration!
It's 4am here in Korea but I couldn't sleep without watching this
Good video for those who would love to dabble in street photography but are afraid of taking mostly bad shots
Thanks for the POV video. This is one of the better ones on KZread. Not many togs explain the reasoning behind the shots, but you my friend have cracked it. Well done and keep ‘em coming. 👍👍👍
Awesome video and photos ✌🏼
Amazing vid ! The first Diner pic is my absolute favorite 🙏🏽👌🏽
Last two prints fire 🔥 Thumbs up from me 👍
Thanks for being honest in this

I need to!! Toronto is awesome!
New york def looks like a jungle of opportunities for photos. Love it my bro. Your style and the photos are top notch.
Great video man, New York along with Tokyo are amongst my favourite cities in the world for night street photography, so many opportunities you're spoiled for choice!
So so good man you captured the vibe nicely I'll be going to NYC for my first time at the end of May and I cannot wait!
The camera is a BEAST!!!
Great video, gives me many diferent ideas.
Awesome video🙌 I am terrible at taking photos at night but this was really helpful. Keep it up!
NY is special! I can’t wait to return. More videos like this ! Cheers

Fernando Gandara I cant wait to go back either!! But you know.... corona virus and all..... haha
You helped me a lot on this type of photography. Thanks!
Two words: Leica colors. There's nothing like them. I shoot on a X-T1 and a lot in Velvia but still Leica colors are wonderful. BTW try Vietnam someday for some amazing street photography especially at night. Lived in Da Nang for two years and always had a X-T1 and X100T with me. Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Hoi An, Da Lat and HCMC are all great places for street photography. The country is very safe, very cheap and the people are nice.
Thanks. It's so helpful to get involved in your thought process. In 10 days I'm going to Japan and I'm sure there will be a lot of similar street photography there.
wow right before all the lockdowns...lucky
It is helpful hearing about what disappoints you as well as your successful shots. Thank you.
this video is like about me trying to take any interesting travel photos lol :D
I was in NYC for a week end of last month, I was staying just next to the M&M shop and I can't believe I missed that Dinner shot.. Your pics as always are absolutely awesome Evan! Would love to see more from your nyc short trip if you have anything else to release 👍
Thanks for the video! I know it’s pretty difficult to come to Japan at this moment but I would love to watch your street photography in Japan someday!!!!
man those colours!! looks awesome!! cant wait to shoot there!! cheers Evan!
Your POV street photography vids are really inspiring. I wish I can boost my confidence more when shooting street photos as same as you.

I don't understand that weird dash when trying to pan...🤔 you're supposed to follow the subject at it's traveling speed. The shutter will do the rest.

That last one is a really good one! 👏🏼 You should come to my city, DC 🤘🏼
If you happen to be in Australia at some point, Melbourne is phenomenal for night street photography!
3 months later I got the perfect shot I wanted of that diner. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love this one man. I'm heading to NYC at the end of the month (hopefully) and plan on doing a lot of shooting like this. You should come to San Diego, not known for the street photography opportunities but it would be interesting to get your take.
Amazing set as usual! Welcome to NYC 😁 I make similar photo POV videos inspired by you and it's refreshing to see another perspective on this city, especially a place so commonly photographed like times sq. Hope you have more NY videos coming out!
I still can't believe how fast you are sometimes, capturing an images. 😄 But I know that feeling of being to surrounded by impressions that you just snap the photo you like and later being frustrated because you somehow made a mistake. Even after years of experience it happens sometimes. 😅

Gotta hit up Chicago, Evan. Michigan Ave., the Riverwalk, water taxis. You will not be disappointed!
Dude your reflections are giving me some serious inspiration
I loved the camera that he was using soo I decided to go in the bio and find the camera and when I saw the price I fainted. Looks like I have to start saving like 3 or 4 years of money to buy my new dream camera😆
Good job!!
very helpful video. Thank You!
I really enjoy your video. Very captivating and I like the way ou continuously talk, excellent narration! What aperture do you suggest when taking pictures with giant colorful signs?
yo those diner shots were definitely my favorites from this shoot
What kind of focus settings do you usually have for street. Im shooting on Sony and usually go back and forth between flexible large and zone
Another great video. If you could do NYC again, is there a different lens size you wish you had with you? If so, what would it be?

Hey, Evan...can you please tell me what settings do you use for ad hoc street photography?
Loved it! Thanks for sharing. What was the problem with the image that you regretted so much, with the cool reflections on the car hood? Looked good to me, in terms of focus?
This is great man! Inspiring 🤝 be careful out in public with this virus on the loose
If you ever come to Puebla, Mexico you will find some great pictures with a different feeling
I'm not a 'street' photographer, however, I have done a lot of personal shooting in NYC, with which I have a love~hate relationship. On the one hand, I think it is by far the most visually interesting major city in the U.S. On the other hand, it can be extremely difficult to impossible to: A) Get certain angles, because of non-stop traffic (where you're dodging moving vehicles, bicycles, skateboarders, regular pedestrians, and runners, all at the same time). B) If you don't want people and/or parked vehicles in shots of some locations C) NYC is so visually stimulating that, ideally you're best to have a shot list and stick to a plan (especially if you're visiting from far away and/or only have several days), because it is very easy to stake out a location and end up waiting for an hour or 3 for 'something interesting to happen'.........……….which ends up NOT happening, and you've wasted time that could have been spent more productively elsewhere. D) If you're shooting larger formats it can be nerve wracking trying to set up a tripod and worrying someone will trip over it and/or damage your equipment...…….not to mention, a lot of indoor spaces won't even allow you to set up a tripod. Perfect examples are that LED American flag in Times Square and that Brooklyn USA diner, it's very difficult to shoot those, if your aim is a clean shot with no vehicles. Living in or near NYC can easily spoil you for shooting pretty much anywhere else in the U.S., because you can get so much bang for your photographic buck, in an hour or so on the street, due to so many things/neighborhood being so close together.
Can’t wait to visit NYC someday. It’s only like a 7hr drive just need to get a passport.
Another spot on video! In the first person clips that i assume are shot on a GoPro, where do you have the camera mounted? Is it head mounted?
Those Diner shots are 🔥🔥🔥. Tremendous opportunity to shoot in NYC. Super jealous. Although I struggle with Street. Landscape is slower and more methodical and more comfortable for me. You should do A Street Photography Workshop similar to how they do Landscape but around Atlanta. Now I want to go to NYC. Damn. 🥂
Hey Evan. Come shoot Downtown Los Angeles with me! ( or by yourself ) Would love to see your take on some LA favorites and new views!
Man 🔥 🔥🙌🏽

Go to some mundane places and see if you can create interesting shots. Honestly most of us live in places that are pretty lame and its great to folks tackle that challenge. I think you did a video of something like that in Tennessee once.
You definitely need to visit San Diego!
My brain hurts trying to catch the most interesting stuff to capture in nyc. It's too much :)
Awesome, just If you could mention your camera settings more often:)
If you’re still in New York, you should go out to CONEY ISLAND. Some stuff is closed but some is open but the somewhat desolate feeling of March makes for fun filled photo opportunities.
Love your stuff how do you afford to travel and explore different places ?
Hey mate. Whats the settings you shoot at night ? SS / Aperture / Iso in this context. Thanks ;)
I like the shot on 04:31 👌🏼👌🏼
Yo, Evan. Come to Copenhagen, Denmark. A lot less neon, but we probably have a whole lot of other things.
Come to Miami. And really spend sometime out here not just on the beach. I love to show you around my city.
Excellent on the reality of a walk around Times Sq for a street pics session. I am getting more and more ysed to using Nikon full frame (D750) and besides prime, big zooms too, for street photos. I have not found not any more issues with it and my ASPC Nikon or even smaller SONY a630from people outisde. They take me for a 'real photographer' and some apologize for being in my way. a bit of fuss to get people pics with bigger gear especially if I try to use it for 'from the hip' shot - yeah I live in Manhattan.
Dosen't the qp have a 28mm? And allows you to zone focus? That's the way I'd shoot with that camera 😜
Yo those photos are dope! Come up to Toronto! We can team up!
PLEASE GO TO MINNEAPOLIS 😩
OMG I would be too shy to try walking up to someone's car hood to take a reflection
Do you generally shoot in aperture priority for streetphotography?
New York definitely is the Mecca of photography.
Come to Boston please 🙏🏼
What's your settings for the diner pic?
