Oh trust me I was and I mean was an Islander fan been with the team since the 70s I agree with you 1000% I have been dealing with this type of play since Dipietro was in net. Get a lead then sit back and hope no killer instinct to finish off a team. To small a defense nobody big and nasty we want defensemen to go forward and score. No defense means defense I am done with them anybody who pays money to go and watch them is crazy and wasting their money

Yeah unfortunately it’s just how the stadium is… I live in NC btw and I actually recall some poll of which arenas teams hated having to play at the most and PNC was quite hated by the rest of the league… I’ve actually been in both locker rooms and the away teams is surprisingly cramped and not that nice… however this was almost 10 years ago so maybe things have changed

But we'll see, plans have been approved for some significant upgrades around the arena, and I know they have plans to do a full renovation in the near future, so upgraded locker rooms could be part of it.

Rod, benched him before the playoffs for that specific reason but they claimed it was bc he wasn’t feeling well. He damn near cost us Game 1 bc of his anger on the ice.
