I feel like there could be a toggle for ranged units to enable friendly fire. It could be on the bottom bar like where guard stance is, and it would be defaulted to off. But you could turn it on for Chaos Dawi or like Rattling Gunners to shoot through their own troops without care. What do y’all think?

Either something like this or have units with the expendable trait not obstruct line of fire.

Well "guard mode" messes up blunderbusses royaly, If their obstructed they will just freeze and not readjust. Feel free to test it, you will need to spam attack orders for them to move or "turn" the last inch before each volley after the reload animation. What normally happens with blunderbusses on "guard mode" is that they might fire off one Volley then just stand there. Try 2 infantry vs 2 AI infantry then send in the Blunderbusses, the one off guard mode will decimate both your own and the enemy, the one on guard mode will fire only once.

@@Weberkooks That I agree on. Just tried to explain the reason they did not fire. It kind of annoyed me to, so I did some test vs the AI. Just don't expect them to do more than one volley on guard mode.

No the friendly fire is part of the fun especially for the Skaven experience, you’d be making that gameplay boring

The Chaos Dwarf player did an amazing job holding his line and then pushing and regrouping his units. Truly one of the most enjoyable and beautiful fights I have seen imo, my ggs to both players.

That volley at 1:32 deleting the squigs was glorious!

If there's a trait for Skaven, Chawi and Vampire Coast that allows more leeway for friendly fire, "Unimpeded firing" or something like that. Would change the meta quite a bit for those factions. But Taco cast FTW! Man I miss his days of pwning with Greasus

falling behind in value vs gunline feels so bad. Cant march up anything without it dying to 1 right click.

I really wish we got a new "Toggle Friendly Fire" button for ranged units, kind of like guard mode or skirmish mode where you can choose to just blast your own infantry. Would be great for factions like Skaven, and Chaos Dwarfs.

All those gunpowder units where soo satisfying! Here's hoping the Dawi and Empire get some new toys that feel as epic as these in Thrones of Delay. I freaking love a gunpowder focused builds!

Great Match, those blunderbuss shots are delicious. One thing though, could you please show the individual value of the units a bit more thoroughly? Not all of them, but there are units in certain games (like the blunderbusses) where it would be interesting to see.

Reminds me of enticity's old vampire coast WAY way back. My gunline needed some support so I included more gunlines. Who needs polearms when you can just have more gunline.

squig misplayed(imo ofc) which seems to be much more common then not. squigs/hoppers should be charged through the ranks of your own infantry around the time(ideally right before) your infantry clash with the opposing infantry. if you want cavalry to take the pain, make sure its shielded

Wished I could see the Prophet death caster on a Lammasu

I do wish Skaven and Chawi had some rule or something where they ignore line of site if its allies. Maybe make the attack pierce allies and not do as much damage to keep it fair.

Why do you only seem to show domination mode matches now? I prefer normal battles.

A pyrrhic victory for the Chaos Dwarfs. If they fielded even a few melee units to tie the charging greenskins while the missile units shoot from the back, I'd reckon casualties would be lower. It was a big mistake to have largely ranged army composition since they're not as effective in melee. Merry Christmas!

I would not recommend any TW games at the moment. But if you don't care about that, buy TWW2 and it's DLC's (Its a much better deal).
