Man, I cannot tell you how much I had missed SGB videos. For me, it's way better than watching a twitch stream because they come in bite-size chunks, there is no distracting audience interaction, and I can easily watch them on my time, rather than catching it live, or before the on-demand version goes away. The halloweenfest episodes have been stellar!

So much to do and so little time. Godspeed Johnny! Goodluck with the charity! Also, very happy to see SGB back. It's one of the channels I go back to a lot.

I’m glad I found Sgb, onimusha 2 was the first content I watched on the channel and got me interested in watching the channel, I hope use play the others or replay them, great content.

I'm very happy to see the SGB gang back together. So far, there Majora's Mask playthrough is my favorite they've done so far this year.

You uploaded this just before I had to leave for my next (now concluded) class and I was honestly worried for the entire class that the SGB update was that it was going away again. Beyond ecstatic that that’s not the case! Great to see it back again!

I started rewatching the old SGB and SCMJ vids and its been a blast, seeing the SGB channel return back in August was amazing

SGB is the only channel that I’ve stuck with from childhood through to adulthood (aside from your own!) so I can’t tell you how much it means that it’s back💕

Honestly been loving the way you've guys handling Halloween fest this year it's been fun and honestly I'm fine with some of the schedule snafus if it means sgb stays then I'll be completely fine with some of them not showing up (Note I happily enjoy every member of the sgb crew I just understand when they have lives and other things to do)

Looking forward to all the new content as always sir. Plus I'm just glad I live in a time where SGB still exists.

Out of all the stuff happen on YT 2023 I am glad that SGB made a comeback.

Playing Spider-Man 2 right now. Gonna be very interesting seeing someone only familiar with Black Suit Saga because of Spider-Man 3 and how they react to what I think is a MUCH better interpretation of the source material. They nailed Kraven so far too

Honestly I think their version of the black suit/Venom saga is just ok and not as good as the 90s cartoon or Spectacular Spiderman also I kinda feel the fist game on ps4 was better when it comes to the plot overall this one just feels like they didn't do enough with Venom and the black suit

​@@demi-fiendoftime3825The Venom/Symbiote stuff felt very sloppy compared to the Kraven stuff, imo. I can only see someone preferring this version of the Black suit/Venom saga if their only recollection is from Spider-Man 3 and the Hardy Venom films.

@@YaBoiPhil From the perspective of someone who's never read a Spider-Man comic in his life, I really enjoyed the Symbiote arc up until Venom himself came into the picture. After his incredible introduction sequence, he felt kinda not present. I also think he's a little boring as a villian - I would've loved for him to have a bit of wisecracking/sense of humor, like the Tom Hardy version has. Act 3 is certainly the weakest part of the game story-wise, but everything up to that I thought was fantastic. I genuinely became uncomfortable playing as Peter at a certain point, which was probably the goal.

@@epicjubjub02 Problem is they spent a little too much time on Kraven and not enough time on how the suit brought out the worst in Peter not just make him violent. As for venom he's painfuly underused and more so uses a bafflingly old characterization as Venom was only a pure villian for a very very short period of time due to his popularity he quickly became an anti-hero with symbotes like Carange and Riot takeing the villian roll. The reason Venom seems so bland is he's only there for like 40 minutes and they use his characterization from his first arc when they could have done so much more with him and I think the smartest way to do that is after how much he was built up throughout the game and how he parallels Harry as terminally ill I think Kraven with a symbote should have been the final boss where Harry and Venom get their redemption and fight alongside Peter and Miles instead of the finale we got

@epicjubjub02 I was the exact same way. Once Venom actually shows up in the last third, it's where the narrative started to fall apart and it's where majority of my criticism lies. A lot of his nuances with the host/symbiote dynamic aren't really there and he just feels like a big monster to fight by the end. Left me kinda unsatisfied Black suited Peter was great, tho!

I was also wondering if you were planning on reviewing Spider-Man 2 as I didn’t see you list it in the upcoming games you’re reviewing.
