Its a hammer tool I made from an old ball burr

Is it common to get polish trapped behind a channel set ring? Something is wrong with mine and it won't come out with ultrasonic cleaning or steam cleaning. Its a new ring, so I might have to send it back :(

Not very common. If the dirt/polish got in, ultrasonic should have been able to take it out. Could be a different particle of debri.
