The ferry was fine, bit tired after the long drive but in a way it's nice to be back, colder busier etc but being away makes you appreciate the best parts of UK. I hope you two had a good trip back to the UK! I was surprised to find that the Bullet 350 was not only coming to the US, but was on showroom floors. I went down to the dealership last weekend to have a look. I liked what I saw, but of course the salesman was much more interested in showing me the Shotgun 650. To be honest, I was impressed. I did not think I would like it as much as I did. The blacked out engine and exhaust isn’t to my personal taste, but that could be changed enough with a new rocker cover and exhaust that it wouldn’t bother me too much. The quality has come way up since my 2019 Interceptor. I was blown away when I saw the front suspension was Showa. Should go a long way improving what was a weak point on the earlier 650s. I sat on it, and in spite of its custom looks, it’s really is a standard. Unfortunately, no test ride was offered. Dealerships here are really getting worse and worse at that. I suspect it’s an insurance thing. Still, not very reasonable to expect someone to buy a new bike without testing it out. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it, especially after being out on the Triumphs lately, as well.

Hi Mark, the bullet is a nice bike but it's too similar to the Classic 350 for me. I'd probably have a shotgun over a bullet. It will be interesting to see it up close... I've not even seen one in the metal yet! Cheers, Sean

Safe trip home guys 😊. Kelly and I also planned to up sticks and retire to the sun (Spain or Greece), but we've been scuppered by the Schengen rule. Unfortunately, we can't afford to have two properties and so we can't do the 90 day thing. We did look into permanent residency but the required minimum income and proof of significant cash reserve is beyond our means. Good luck to you both, though and if you can make your dream come true - do it! 😊😊

Thanks Phil, appreciable that. Keep an eye on the rules as they do seem to change every couple of years with new incentives to get people to these countries whether it's digital nomad visas or the like they still want the money of Germans, Dutch and British! Cheers, Sean

Hi Crumbly, well I hope you are doing OK. House moving is a massive pain, we've found it very wears you down travelling from place to place and packing and re packing. Glad things are back on track with you, a bike ride always seems to help when times are tough. The Shotgun I'm probably more excited about than the Himmy I don't really know why... maybe the 450 will surprise me!

Heyyyy of course I can tell you that, what a lovely thing to ask! "Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go" and then above it is the Kilimanjaro outline. I had it after I climbed Kili because I was told I shouldn't do it by my Cardiologist consultant because of my heart problem, and I did it anyway and it was one of the best things I've ever done! 💪✨️🙏🤸🏼‍♀️💚

Great update thank you .....i will be really interesting to see your take on the shotgun ..i didnt like the colour schemes on them ...untill i saw the green one with yellow flashes ...great looking bike with sensible footrest position ...for me anyway.

Thanks Willy. It's weird with the shotgun there has been a mini backlash against it. I think because RE are diverging from their classic styling on the 650 platform. The powder blue launch colour certainly made a statement 💙!

As part of the entertainment schedule on the crossing back we actually listened to a presentation and I bought a book from a guy on the ferry who was telling the passengers the best of Spain and he did it on his Moto Guzzi. Very interesting man. Spain has a lot to offer!

I never thought I'd hear someone say they are coming to the UK because of Mark!!!! I know he makes a mean sponge cake...
