on the clearance issues with grease fittings think about using the high pressure grease fittings..We used them alot(too Often) on our military aircraft..chafing on landing gear hydraulic hoses were avoided..You squeeze the grease thru with a needlepoint head on the grease hose..The fittings sit flush in the hole with the part when you insert them..Yeh they do tend to cake up but you deal with it as it flies. Considering all the environments and altitudes the planes fly between maintenance scheduling, they do hold up .Leaving the grease fitting hole open allows too much stuff to enter in, I'm sure you know and the grind/bind comes faster..Thanx for your vids..

Nice video!! Would it be possible to get oil and fuel filter numbers for the 986? Trying to rework an old one my daddy had and I can't read the numbers to order new filters. Trying to stay away from the pricey tractor parts house prices!! Thanks!!!! God Bless!!

I use NAPA filters. Oil filter is 1784. I'm not sure of the exact number it's either 1786 or 1789 will work also I think there just a little longer but should check to verify. Primary fuel filter 3339 Secondary fuel filter 3336

I use the same grease on everything something high temp extreme pressure.
