Just love the SG Band playing,especially if they play ' I belong to GLASGOW' in Windsor. Haha.

lovely sound... you really need a quality set of headfones to appreciate these ..... just wondering in this video.. the turning left comand is clear... in others the sign is made to turn right with a sweep to the left ... with a rather short arm pointing left.... and the opposite in others.

They are escorts, on this occassion for the Officer but generally for the Colours when they are on parade.

I think that traditionally they are meant to safeguard the marching units at hazardous intervals such as crosstreets. Protect the flanks. What do the old Guardsmen say, please?
