    FINALLY somebody said it. i've been teaching this to the kids i train and every last one of them that actually listens becomes near unstoppable...You definitely have a new sub from me. GREAT GREAT content.....can you do a video on why CHris paul is still one of (if not the best) point guards out there

    Yea Chris Paul has been change of pace master since High School and I still believe he's the best PG despite the Curry hype.

    curry is better than CP3 and it's not even debatable. now as a pure point guard CP might have more success but curry's skillset is so much more than that.

    DJ Žanis besides shooting what does curry have over cp3?

    keepiticy Isolation scoring, finishing at the rim, all kinds of scoring actually, handles and the pressure he puts on defence overall is a massive impact. so you'd argue CP>SC?

  • @keepiticy

    @keepiticy

    7 жыл бұрын

    DJ Žanis iso scoring cp3 is way better, he's been doing this for 10 years plus, finishing at the rim is arguable because both are really good but i'll gice it to curry, hell no not handles, curry gets ALOT of turnoers because of him being flashy remember the finals how many times he bounced the ball off his heels. and he only has 2 moves (behind the back and a inside out) and curry has so many good options that the defense is spread thin, all of the starting 5 is a threat from outside/inside/ hell everywhere........CP3 is a much better passer, a MUCH MUCH better defender, and smarter player overall, slightly more athletic (as in faster stronger and quicker) better mid ranger shooter, a better leader, hell hes' been the most efficient player EVER for a couple years (look it up)

    Really helpful for accelerating a player's improvement time. You can't really get these things out of instructions from a coach but pick up these things (change of speed, science of crossovers, etc) over time as no one really takes the time to explain these things to anyone. Thanks for the video!

    I do appreciate videos you making, there quite a few things that I or anyone else could learn our of it, but I like to point out that most of the above clop show same things I would define as acceleration not changing speed as such. Most examples above applicable to any basketball player that got ball anywhere on the floor and accelerate towards point x. Other things in the clips that could be called change of speed also commonly called hesitation.

    Changing speeds is like changing directions. You can see what the defender wants to do. Another idea is to catch someone in transition with their head turned or back turned, so they can't see you zooming by. Watching for eyes to blink or pointing to get them to look away and zoom the other direction. Attention can be diverted!

    Scooby Doo watch lots of Ja Morant, Tyler Ulis, Lamelo ball, and Lonzo. That’s been my film diet for the past couple months and I feel like I’ve really grown. Some tips tho: don’t go out of your way to create for others. When you have your mind set on creating, you miss other opportunities. Just focus on getting into the paint with a shot first mindset. As soon as you do that, defense will be drawn to you and you can kick out or dump off
