Thanks. I'm not trying to make KZread my full-time job, so I am fine with the views. And yes, I was planning on posting a link on the forum as I got enough videos so that it would be helpful to new vendors. Since vending isn't my full-time job, it is sometimes hard to get around to making the videos. Sometimes I need to do a quick repair to one of our machines and I don't have enough time to record the process.

Much easier than trying to figure it out off the inside door! Thanks a lot!

When i started vending in 2004 nobody did vending videos had to fig it out myself 🤣🤣🤣

I have a Vendmo Base Unit 576 that I just picked up as a first machine. I already know that it has the capability to maintain prices for each separate track, but to change prices (I.e. for addition of energy drinks) it says that I need a password to get to that programming area. How do I reset or bypass that requirement so that I can reprogram the prices. Also, how do I set up the cams on this model??? Thanks in advance. Love your videos.

I just bought a similar machine and the bill acceptor is not working. Wondering if it's because a green wire with yellow stripe is not connected or if it's easier to buy a new mei bill acceptor and install?

Is the bill acceptor doing anything? It should be connected to the coin mech with a 4 pin white connector. Do you have another bill acceptor that you can switch it out with to see if that's the problem?

It sounds like two columns are linked together which would be a Space to Sales setting. Post your problem and model machine on the vendicuss forum and someone will help you get it set up right. vendiscuss.net/forum/15-beverage-and-food-vending/

Yes....Dixie Narco used to make a stack machine that vended M&M products that I still see in many amusement parks. Although it is no longer manufactured, you may be able to find used ones. Also, they do make glass front snack machines that are refrigerated and outdoor rated because I have also seen them in amusement parks. One you should check out is the AMS Outsider. It is best to install them where they are not in direct sunlight..like under a porch roof or next to a building with an overhang.

You need to pull out the rods on the front of the machine and move the spaces to either the bottle or can settings. I should probably do a video on that since it is hard to explain in words.

The price should set on your machine just like the machine I showed in this video. Just press the blue button on your control board and navigate to the "pric" menu...you shouldn't even need to type a password on a 650-10 machine. If you are still having trouble, download the Merlin-iV manual from the Royal website and follow the directions in there.

Start with a few machines and see how you like it. If it's not for you, you can always sell off the machines and try something else. Good luck!

@@stephaniesunshine6523 Combo units are not very profitable because they don't hold much and would require you to constantly service the machine at good locations. Don't buy any imported machines like Seaga or any healthy vending biz ops. You might be best to start with a simple stack drink machine at a blue collar location like a car service shop or a factory. If it does well, try getting a snack machine in the location like a used AP123 or similar. You want to try to find machines from at least the early 2000s so that you know they are MDB compatible. Decent soda machines are DN501e, DN276e, Royal 660-9, Royal Giii, or Vendo 721.

I just bought my first machine, Vendo 511, im trying to set the price, i press the mode button 3 times, go to Cost. I Choose the select button i want and set to $1.50 however it will reverse to $1 , what im missing? Every selection is now $1.

Congratulations on your first machine Gman! I am not very familiar with Vendos because I only have Royals and Dixies. Do you mean when it shows ss1 in the menus? I think that might be a selection switch test. Are you in the diagnostics menu?

You probably have it set to single price mode. Go into the configuration menu and set C1 to 1.

It depends on what kind of machine it is, if it's new or used, if it's being shipped or being picked up. For a machine like the one in this video it could be anywhere from 500 to 1500....that is the used price since they no longer make these machines.

On my location all my prices are $100. Some guys are unplugging/replugging the machine and the price resets to 50 cents. How can I fix this? Plz help.

The backup battery on your machine is dead. You will need to replace it. It is most likely on the main control board and may look like a chip depending on the machine.

Are you positive you changed the price correctly? When you press the product button, does it display .75 as the price?

When I changed my prices on my vending machine it worked so thank you for that, but the max amount of quarters I can put in the insert slot is 50 cents so how do I change that?

What is the highest amount drink in your machine? Does it take dollar bills? Do you have nickels in your coin mech?

No the machine will not take dollar bills and we do have nickels in the coin mech. You can insert a dollar bill but it will spit it back out.

@@fortnitechugjug8179 What price are the deinks set for? I think you should empty all the change out of the coin mech and put the machine in Tube Fill mode and try putting the change back in to see if the coin mech counts the change. It sounds like there might be a problem with the coin mech.

The 650 programs pretty much the same as the 660 giiis. The only big difference is that it only uses the top 3 selection buttons to navigate through the menus rather than the four buttons like on the giiis. You can download the manual from the Royal website.

What if I'm buying a machine for my own home use in a man cave. Can I set the prices to 0 if I do not wish to use coins?

Most newer machines like the one in this video have a "free vend" mode.

Is there a way to do it without the password? Or can the password be deleted somehow? I bought my machine from someone and this password doesn’t appear to work

Are you sure all the buttons are working? So the 4-2-3-1 password doesn't even work if you press it on the front of the machine while the door is closed?

Worst case scenario… Buy a new control board, but check the buttons like Bill said first. No one ever changes the password on the machine, usually because it’s in the manual.

When I change my prices to $1 after a few days it get changed to $.50 for some odd reason. Anybody know why my vending machine does this?????

@@alow2323 You set the price per selection, not column. In a 9-select machine, you will have some columns grouped to the same selection using space to sales. Some Royals do have 12 selection buttons, which could be linked to each column.

I have a question I have a royal 804 I unplugged it to move to a different spot and when I plugged it back in everything reset! All Prices are .50 cents no more temp on display Anyone ever run across this problem

The backup battery on your board is dead and needs to be replaced. It's a big battery that looks like a multipin chip. It should say timekeeper on it. Be careful removing it from the board...use a chip puller if you have one. Since the machine lost its programming, you will need to reprogram Space to Sales and prices.

@@alow2323 I've replaced them myself. They are not typically soldered in, but sometimes might have a dap of glue holding them in. Make sure you put the new one in in the same direction, pay attention to where pin 1 goes.

Your bill acceptor has to be able to accept 5 dollar bills. It has nothing to do with a setting on the machine itself....just the bill acceptor.

And won’t take no money dollars or coins

@@jdmtake1 Well, if all it's showing is ss-1 through ss-8, that is a message that there is a selection switch problem on ALL the selection switches. You must have a harness issue somewhere that is disconnecting all your selection switches. Check the harness that goes to the selection switches and look for obvious issues like something unplugged or cut. If you don't see anything obvious, you might need to get a volt meter and check for continuity until you track down the problem. The vendor will not accept money if all the selection switches are bad because it is unable to sell product.

Dude we are here to learn how to scam the vending machine for free or discount soda not to learn step by step on how to refurbish it..really dude??
