What foods or supplements do I need to eat/take to resolve this? I took clindamycin and it destroyed the bacteria that make secondary bile acids. Then I got c diff. Took Dificid and it killed c diff but my symptoms remain. It’s been 7 months and no change. Probiotics don’t help and I can’t eat dairy or red meat because it makes the diarrhea worse. I’m getting no nutrients and my GI doc just shrugs and says to do a colonoscopy. Which will reveal nothing we don’t already know. My calprotectin is 260 and blood clots are coming out when I use the bathroom. If you can just say what’s worked for others without giving medical advice that would be appreciated.
