I don’t know if the Norwegian guards are as strict as the Grenadier Guards

People seem to be kept well away, and the guards don’t stand any nonsense.They also seem to be relatively respectful and do as they are asked. Don’t want to be rude but it is hard to see or understand what is happening.

As a former HMKG palace guard myself, it is amazing how compliant people can be if you just wave that white glove at them. We used to call it the glove that can move mountains 😅

I think you are confusing these guys with the HMKG Drill & Music marching band. These guys are palace guards which is a separate company, but they are in the same regiment.
