Outstanding job, hardest part of the whole thing was digging up a 19mm hex head.

A brute force alternative if you're not reusing the tire and you do not have a heavy duty tire changer like yours: use a reciprocating saw to cut off the tire after breaking the bead. Wrestled with my front tire for a long time with tire irons, cut off the back in about 30 seconds. I like your videos for the step by step process you outline. .

Thanks. Yeah, I have to cut the tires on certain rims that don't have a decent drop center. But thankfully the Raider rims do.

Great video. Only tip I have is you have to remove the wheel spacers before balancing. That’s why it was only turning that small bit. The cones need to be in the wheel bearings. Safe riding.

Yeah, I'm curious about those tire beads. Can you reuse them on the next change? And if so, how do you get them out of the old tire and back into the bottle?

I know some people do reuse them. You can just use a dinner spoon to collect them back again and have a funnel waiting. Also you will need a scale to measure how much they weigh if you want to be exact. I have them on my raider now, and no more needing rebalanced while there in there because they balance dynamicly.

Do you reuse them yourself or just change them out each time? They look to be around $8 -$12.

I havent had the chance to reuse them but I imagine i will just buy new ones when the time comes. Just feels better putting new stuff on the raider.

Get a spray bottle with heavy soapy water in it. Spray it on your valve stem and around your tire where it meets the rim on both sides. See if any bubbles appear anywhere. That should show where the problem is.

Do you use loctite on the axles?

David, have you used the No Mar Pro to change the rear (Raider)? I am asking because No Mar recommends using their Posi Clamps instead of the Dog Blocks, and I am not wanting to spend another couple of hundred bucks unless absolutely necessary. I am changing the front tire on my Roadliner tomorrow, and I will use your video as a guide, thanks.

I haven't changed the rear tire on the Raider yet. But due to the pulley sprocket sticking out so far, it might require the Posi-Clamps for clearance. I think the No Mar Pro model came with them.

I needed the posi-clamps for my Roadliner front, it does not glide on like the Raider. Since I did not have them, I used tie straps, a cargo strap, a tire spoon with rim protectors to assist me using the mount/demount bar. When you do the rear, I would like to see your experience and find out your opinion about the posi clamps.

Hey cj45606, I just posted a video of how to change the rear tire on the Raider. Yes, I had to use the tall "Rim Clamps." The dog blocks will bottom out the pulley if you don't. Here's the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5-F1LKsfpPWcrw.html
