Good video, this will help me tomorrow. My new G372XP arrived today and somewhere it has a fuel leak, so I need to take the tank and hoses off to inspect. There is a hissing noise of fuel escaping where the handle screws on so I think it is cracked on the thread. The plastics do look very cheap but the rest of the saw is good.

It's always great to get those lagging projects completed.

I ran it last weekend and it held up for the first day. hopefully I will get more time to run the saw in the fall so busy now. Thanks for watching man

Good to know how to do that. Thanks Pete. I can't remember if I mentioned it but I installed my Holzfforma carburetor on my Stihl and it runs great.

Holz ? On a stihl? Stay away from stock holz 372xp carbs no good , glad whatever saw you got is running with it good luck

So I changed the tank on my 372xp OE from 2007 and the throttle cable slips when trigger is all the way let go and adjusting the cable and cover does nothing it just slips but the last throttle cable worked

Self taper screw for that outer dawg in the middle that way it stays your cover when changing chains ect, good vid👍👍, and reason you dont run the bigger dog on the inside?

I have a Holzfforma G255 with a broken handle & leaking tank. Right out of the box

Pete...how did you break the tank first time out? Chainsaw tanks are pretty durable items.

When I got the saw I was a little worried about the plastic it seemed different then Husqvarnas tanks. When I tried to do it was a very very cold day in the tank to survive the first trip ever. That is the thing that I doubt that plastic do hold like my 1994 made Husqvarna 42 Special that is like a new even today! Is it really a wise investment like 1/3 of an original price? You can think so, but like that old wisedom says "if you are poor, do not buy the cheapest" 😂

The chainsaws was absolutely the best purchases I had around the Homestead would recommend it for any one.thanks for warning

I just got my g372xp. It started and I let it warm up for 5 min and reved it up for a second and turned it off. Moved the chainsaw and gas came out from around front left side. Now it won't start. I move it around and I don't see gas pouring out. Any suggestions?

move the saw in all different directions. If there is no leak found.Most likely it’s flooded take the spark plug out Dry it off and then reinstall it and see that it starts you might have to Adjust the carburetor. When it ran was it running good

Why you didnt explain tank vent ? It is pronounced painful punch thatll put your pony out to pasture for unplaned playinhg
