Changes in the garden and the Woes of gardening in oppressive Alabama summer heat
Hello, my fellow gardeners. We are dealing with oppressive heat and drought here in NW Alabama. It has been in the 90s with no rain for days on end. Today is another very hot and humid day. In fact, my camera shut down from the heat at the end of this video!
Our forecast is calling for rain this early evening and overnight. Let's hope that holds.
New guitar pick shaped garden:

Thank you! Yes, it does take time.
I think I have the same fountain and even in the same color. A couple of points: Using the spray heads caused my basin to empty pretty frequently, especially if the wind was blowing. I found it better to remove the caps and let the piece the caps snap to become a bubbler type head. The other thing is under our Florida sun, the resin stand started to soften and contort, so be on the lookout for that happening. When my stand became pretty much useless, I unscrewed the basin and set it into the mouth of a pot. The pot makes it super easy to set the basin to level and doesn't distort/bend in the sun... it also set the height of the basin a bit lower which seems to have made it more attractive to some birds.

This is my first one. Thank you for the advice. I have been playing with the different nozzles that the solar insert came with. It is in direct sun, I will watch for contorting. Thank you again!
