Elvis forever
what you need is Dr Elvis
This movie was criminally underrated. I loved it as a kid and between Elvis the movie and the passing of the extraordinary Lisa Marie Presley 💔 I've been revisiting what I loved the most. Also read Jerry Schilling's book "Me and a Guy Named Elvis" which is just an amazing look at how life was for him and Elvis (they met playing a pickup game of football when Jerry was 12 and Elvis just 18). If his name sounds familiar he gave an emotion packed eulogy at Lisa Marie's funeral; he had literally known her since she was born as Elvis asked him to stay at Graceland for her birth ❤️❤️
he looked very much handsome as well as too cute and humble in that age
This was a truly great movie for the times and very underrated for sure. It had ALL KINDS of messages and Elvis showed a wonderful ability to adapt to ANY role and this movie proved it, hands down!

I never was a big Elvis fan but he was great in this movie. It was her at on TCM so I got it DVR'd. This song could really reflect the world today
Sadly some Baby Boomers such as myself yawned and said, just another Elvis movie. Little did we know that he was about to conquer Las Vegas that same year and only be with us for another 8 years more or less. People my age should have paid more attention to him, but he had been with us since the mid 50's and we thought he would be with us another 40 years. What makes us angry, Elvis was at his best, appearance wise, during this 4 to 6 year era (1967-1972) we missed it and only realize it in hindsight. So his last movie becomes very nostalgic to us all.

Elvis will be eternal- his body was a victim of fame and fortune he’s not the only one- I’m grateful for his music and his smile. I’m sorry he didn’t get to fulfill his dream of worldwide travel . Blessed to hsve his recordings!

this movie is my favorite with Elvis and so glad to see I'm not the only one!! I think he was a little less "Elvis" in this role. he was different than in any other movies he did. what a beautifull way to stop his actor career. I wonder if he felt the chance he had to stop with a movie like this.

He was a real stunner Elvis Presley. 🏴
Love this flim with elvis in it
My uncle turned me onto Elvis when I was about 14. Watched the Aloha from Hawaii special and was hooked! Still remember pulling up to my job on that sad day in 1977 and being told what had just happened to the King. Ironically I got stationed at Pearl Harbor in 1980.
HAPPY 87 th BIRTHDAY ELVIS AND JESSE! WE all love ❤️ you both so VERY MUCH! So happy you are still with us, among the living. The Hollyweird cabal, Vegas and my mafias didn’t get you after all. It’s going to be a beautifully glorious time! GOD BLESS you and your beautiful families! I personally hope o get to meet you both one day and I may cry with joy, but I promise I won’t invade your privacy or space. Please share your lives with your fans, WE love ❤️ you so so much! Sing sing sing! 🎵 🎶 🎼
Very underrated movie I liked it and of course the music 🎶 👌
His mom would have loved this movie so much!!!! She was very religious
I was in Second grade when Vatican II happened my teacher was a nun and she played a fabulous acoustic guitar and we went outside in the sunshine and we sang about peace and love and every time I see this movie or play this song I feel the hope that you do when you were young and I wish we had an Elvis or a gifted artist like him who could bring everyone together in this terrible crazy mixed up sad time- I am praying I hope we’re all praying together

I can relate to that. I used to have hundreds of friends around our home constantly eating, goofing around, having a good time. Now it's becoming a war between evil and right. If you choose right, very , but very few people will stand by you. Elvis didn't support the leftist activism in the 60s, neither support segregation. He was the perfect representation of a good American fighting for God, family and homeland 🙏🙌⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Just the song we need in this pandemic time, including the gorgeous pictures of Elvis in this movie. I just don't understand why this song hasn't been more emphasized while "There's a newer world ahead"

Great comment!
I just watched this movie and OMG, he looks breathtakingly handsome. What a gorgeous devil he was! I wish he kept that hairstyle. I loved the fashion and everything. He looked so cool! I'm not sure about his pairing with Mary Tyler Moore. However, he did really well. I believed him as a doctor and especially the scene when he feels betrayed by her not telling him she was a nun. It was a serious role within a musical movie. Oh, and I know that he was a ladies man, but I don't know how he managed to have such a tender look in his eyes. If he told me he loved me, I believed him. Such a honest face!

Thanks for playing this it’s one of my favourite Elvis films I must admit I watch this a lot it’s a brilliant film and my favourite song from the film is Let us Pray 🙏 the sad thing about it though it means the film has come to the end but when you listen to this brilliant gospel song it just makes you feel happy it does me anyway Love ❤️ from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴👑👑👑🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🎸🎸🎸🥰😘

When you watch these movies you need to have lived in this time, then you will understand how things were and the stereotypes that went on. It does not take away who Elvis was and Mary Tyler Moore.
Just great tune it a tune of rock n roll what not to like
This is really not a half bad movie, and I believe that this song was more in Elvis' line of work. The style, groove and lyrics are great. Had he continued with movies in the 70's, perhaps the music and stories would have actually improved. (Despite Colonel Parker, that is..)
Change of habit was an amazing movie strong and realistic and Mary Tyler Moore was fortunate to star with Elvis lucky lady he was adorable exciting and remarkable man love and miss you dear tcb
I love and i miss you sweet Elvis ❤️
Amen! ❤️🙏

An all time favorite. Listened to the let's be friends album on Spotify and this one got to me
This film is near impossible to find anywhere. Almost as hard as his early film Loving You. You find it and you'll have to pay up a bit for it. Awesome music as always and of course Elvis was still in his prime. All of his films were just fun and light hearted escapism. I think that's why he made so many. He must have had a lot of fun doing them. He certainly didn't need the money, and it wasn't to get critical acclaim. He was just having fun. Not a fan of Mary Tyler Moore at all, but Elvis makes it work. My personal favorites were the ones he did with Shelley Fabares. He must have really had fun working with her, she starred with him three times, more than any other actress. Yvonne Craig was runner up with two appearances with Elvis.
