Colin, you have the best, most professional photoshop (or any graphics application) channel on KZread. You don't have an obnoxious intro clutter that takes up half the time of the video, and the noise. You are clear, to the point, and you have by far the best, easiest to listen to voice. And thank you for not waving your arms, thrashing them all over, and making infantile teenage noises. And no face dances, with eyebrows, grimaces, ear wiggling, forehead furrows, and way overly enunciating like a kindergarten teacher in front of stinky, sticky brats with graham crackers and pudding all over their fat little faces! 5 star!

You are a great presenter. This is great if the there is one distinct color to be changed. However, there are a ton of similar videos out there - I have been looking at them. What no-one helps with is selecting one exact hue that is muddled up with similar hues. I suspect that Constraints are the key to this, but I would love a session on difficult selections - say blood on pink skin.

can get to light grey or muddy dark grey but not white or black. this technique seems to work well for color but two tutors now have said that you can use the lightness slider to change to white or black but alas, no. it becomes a blob. do I need an additional adjustment layer? You don’t seem to need one nor Unmesh Dinda of Piximperfect but I cannot get to either extreme please help

That was simple 👍 Video I like to see to address the following problem. A cut out subject with tanned brown skin has white edges which is light bouncing from a white background. I want the subject on a black background so need to darken the skin edges for about 50 pixels to blend with the rest of the skin colour.

You don't like the rim light? If you use grids on your lights while shooting you will reduce the spill light. Let me put this request on my list of possible tutorials.

@@photoshopcafe Hi There are no studio lights its reflected ambient light from close by white objects around the subject. If the objects where green for instance there would be a green tinge around the subject, Its not a halo but wraps around 30-50 pixels

@@photoshopcafeinstructions are poorly indicated. The sliders affect the whole image as per you comment on the lips but then fail to mention how it affect the rest of the image. In my case(like the above user mentioned ) the slider is also turning the face of the model blue.

In context to what he was probably saying, in nature they don’t, In camera they do exist because of limited dynamic range.
